Breaking— CRUZ CAMPAIGN STAFFER SAYS CAMPAIGN IS DONE —

ted cruz

A Ted Cruz campaign staffer today told CNN the campaign is done. “His Campaign is done.”

“The Cruz campaign has to focus on getting basic campaign techniques right,” said a Republican operative who works for the presidential campaign, who asked not to be identified. “I don’t think Cruz can win the nomination at this point. I think his campaign is done.”

Cruz took a huge blow on Saturday after he could not win a single county in South Carolina, a state with an enormous evangelical vote.

Translation: the leeches that are an inevitable part of the election teams have gotten their money after they’ve done asinine things and made Cruz look bad because they suck.

What should be obvious to you is that as much as Fox and CNN hate on Trump and have Rubio love fests, the rank and file aren’t buying what they’re selling anymore.

There’s still a minority that doesn’t understand and will follow the LSM lead, but overwhelmingly the Establishment is being kicked to the curb by both GOP and RAT voters. If Trump is capturing the attention of people from both parties, that is a good thing. It means even RAT voters are waking up.

LOL!! You can’t be serious?

Cruz brings TRUMP nothing to the ticket.

There is no region, demographic or affiliation that Cruz brings that TRUMP doesn’t already have. Not the evangelicals, as TRUMP bested Cruz by a mile. Not the South, TRUMP is leading throughout the South.

In the North, Cruz would hurt TRUMP badly.

TRUMP will determine who can provide the ticket a win, who can seal a deal for him, one that matters beyond the little camp of devastated Cruzaders. Just sayin’.

Dubio is the last ditch effort of the GOPe to sideline Trump, and keep it in the party.

Their next effort will be to win it for Hillary at all cost.

We can even see that swing here.

Speaking of your family and friends, I’m in the same position. My niece’s black husband is Democrat and voted twice for Obama. This year, he’s voting for Trump.

I would not generalize from this, but a woman who attended an Iowa caucus encountered young men who mentioned that they had always voted Democrat but this time transferred to vote for Rubio. Rubio won that caucus by a few votes.

Many Dems vote Republican when they support the ideas of that candidate. It isn't just "they like them". The coastal areas of NC were big Jessecrat areas. Those Dems never changed party but never failed to vote for Jesse Helms because he loved America, NC and was unabashed in saying so.

And I think this is what Trump has going for him. "Make America Great again" is an appealing motto to a lot of people.

It almost seems to me Cruz hired people who were set on destroying him and were in fact his enemies. Sure seems that way or are they just wholly incompetent?

What does that say about Cruz's ability to pick a Presidential cabinet or other potential judgment calls?

Does this mean that the Trump-Rubio alliance is over?

In your imagination...yes.

We really need someone who can manage the hell out of the USA.

If I might, this is the crux of my differences with the Trump side.

Was a time all a candidate had to do was offer to get government out of our way, out of our lives, to be elected in a landslide.

Now it seems most want a leader who'll 'manage' things.

I'm one of those throwbacks who still believes the most frightening words in the english language are 'I'm from the government and I'm here to help'. If allowed I'll manage things myself.

Plus big question is will Texas allow for Cruz to retain Senate seat or will he be primaried?

*******************

Based upon Cruz’s past job/position tenure he won’t run for another term.
Six years may be his limit as is shown he’s already chasing another four
year job and he’s only three years into this six year job.

He appeals to the liberals. We have the same thing in our family. Our son is voting TRUMP. TRUMP is a Democrat running on a Republican ticket. He will draw more Democrats during the election that Republicans. I am sure of it. Sad day since he is to the LEFT OF ROMNEY..

This is part of the dynamic I am seeing. Trump is lefter than Romney, but with personality.

I've long ago figured out that personality wins in the USA over substance. Bill Clinton beat George Bush with Personality. (And Bob Dole.)

George W Bush simply had the good fortune to run against Al Gore and John Kerry. :)

Actually "GOPe" should actually be "gopE". The "E" should be capitalized. The gopE would rather Hillary win than Trump, because the "E" is more important that the "gop" part. Don't forget, our system is partly a globalist Uni-Party now. People on both sides are starting to see it.

I do not believe this story.

I believe it. Why? Because we have witnessed, before our very eyes, how our enemies can and do embed themselves within our own nation and within our own party in order to subvert our success and in order to destroy us from within. Quite likely, and in fact...probable, IMO.

I can live with Trump, but I would rather have someone who is ideologically closer to me. The only candidate out there who is that (and has a chance of winning) is Ted Cruz.

I really don't understand all this animosity between Trump and Cruz supporters. Either candidate ought to be a decent second choice for people who support the other.

It means we got screwed once again. A great conservative — Ted Cruz — couldn’t execute a presidential campaign. For whatever reasons Cruz couldn’t get it done. So once again we get stuck with crap as a nominee. I am not surprised. This happens every four years.
