Means nothing to Trumpeteers. Trump has flip flopped on too many issues for me. It doesn’t matter what he says, he can change his mind tomorrow and his supporters will not give a rat’s arse.

The danger for Trump was in being the assumed winner. For some voters who might otherwise have voted for Trump, that made Cruz vs Rubio more interesting. In that contest, even if Cruz pulls ahead by a few votes, he lost. He probably will, because those absentee votes don't reflect the momentum of the past few days. No one predicted Rubio would be so strong. For Rubio to have recovered so quickly and so well from that debate which was criticized is impressive.
It's bad news for Cruz.

Hey, I was not a big fan of Romney, and I thought he was a weak candidate. He was about my fourth or fifth choice at the beginning of the campaign season. However, when he became the nominee I voted for him. Didn’t work out so well.

If Carson is still in, Cruz would endorse him if Cruz gets out.

It is a little confusing. All we’ve heard since February 9th is how Cruz was going to rock the casbah in conservative, church 3 times a week/Vacation Bible school South Carolina.
But Trump is the runaway bride here. Yeah, you got it:
“In a state made for cruz, 70 % evangelical, Cruz is showing how weak he is.”
He gets 29 of SC’s 50 delegates, do you know how many districts he’s won by plurality? Any chance he’s going to run the table?

Interesting stats. Sixty-six percent of Republicans didn’t vote for Trump. This will be fascinating as the field dwindles down to only two.

If all the polls show someone up by double digits in a race that’s weeks or days away, that’s pretty good evidence. If polls nearly a year away are mixed and close, that means little.

Looks like Rubio will win three counties, Trump all the rest.
You're right....no delegates for Cruz.
To: dynoman
I’d certainly vote for Rubio before I’d vote for Trump.

Well, watching another Rubio speech where coming in 3rd or 2nd is a win.
Such an odd election season.
To: xzins
The ONLY way Rubio wins the nomination is if the Country decides it likes illegal immigration.
