Today was the day before the Republican primary in South Carolina and I was gone from home most of the day.
When I got home, here are the robo calls left on the answering machine:

I can’t believe this is a winning strategy. Robo calls turn me off! I have a landline I almost never answer since caller ID came into fruition!

That's why I have one of these:

I personally don't care about receiving them, as it is nearly zero-effort from me to scan and delete them (one doesn't have to necessarily listen to them), but I'm a little put off that Cruz isn't on your list. I donated money so he would be able to robo-call other people. What gives?

During the last presidential election cycle, I was one of the volunteers manning the reception desk at county Republican headquarters. The consultant that the Party sent us was really into pestering people by phone. Eventually it became clear that members of the public were not into being pestered by phone. In particular, while I was at the desk checking the phone messages, I found one from a local store owner who was furious that he was being bombarded with political calls to the phone in his business.

That’s the nature of a political campaign in the homestretch.
If it bothers you, then vote for the candidate who isn’t in that list.

Maybe he gets that it irritates people.
It’s much more effective to use your phone time for GOTV.

Aw geez, I’ll be so glad when it is over. I have a land line because of aging parents and we have been bombarded these past two weeks. I’m sure there will still be calls tomorrow but then finally it will stop. Yay.
To: TBP
I’m not so sure about that.
It’s all about getting the donors and spending the money here and there.
