Warren Zevon - Werewolves Of London
I saw a werewolf with a Chinese menu in his hand Walkin' through the streets of Soho in the rain He was lookin' for the place called Lee Ho Fooks Gonna get a big dish of beef chow mein
Aaahoo! Werewolves of London Aaahoo! Aaahoo! Werewolves of London Aaahoo!
Ya hear him howlin' around your kitchen door Ya better not let him in Little old lady got mutilated late last night Werewolves of London again
Aaahoo! Werewolves of London Aaahoo! Aaahoo! Werewolves of London Aaahoo!
He's the hairy, hairy gent, who ran amok in Kent Lately he's been overheard in Mayfair You better stay away from him He'll rip your lungs out Jim Huh, I'd like to meet his tailor
Aaahoo! Werewolves of London Aaahoo! Aaahoo! Werewolves of London Aaahoo!
Well, I saw Lon Chaney walkin' with the queen Doin' the werewolves of London I saw Lon Chaney Jr. walkin' with the queen Doin' the werewolves of London I saw a werewolf drinkin' a pina colada at Trader Vic's And his hair was perfect
Aaahoo! Werewolves of London Draw blood Aaahoo! Werewolves of London

America - Horse With No Name
On the first part of the journey I was looking at all the life There were plants and birds and rocks and things There was sand and hills and rings The first thing I met was a fly with a buzz And the sky with no clouds The heat was hot and the ground was dry But the air was full of sound
I've been through the desert on a horse with no name It felt good to be out of the rain In the desert you can remember your name 'Cause there ain't no one for to give you no pain La, la
After two days in the desert sun My skin began to turn red After three days in the desert fun I was looking at a river bed And the story it told of a river that flowed Made me sad to think it was dead
You see I've been through the desert on a horse with no name It felt good to be out of the rain In the desert you can remember your name 'Cause there ain't no one for to give you no pain La, la
After nine days I let the horse run free 'Cause the desert had turned to sea There were plants and birds and rocks and things there was sand and hills and rings The ocean is a desert with it's life underground And a perfect disguise above Under the cities lies a heart made of ground But the humans will give no love
You see I've been through the desert on a horse with no name It felt good to be out of the rain In the desert you can remember your name 'Cause there ain't no one for to give you no pain La, la

Friday morning coffee bump.
Well, we'll see if today is a hunting day. Yesterday was a little bit windy.

Well, that’s what I get for joining late. All my songs are already listed. But as I’m compelled to participate:
Leopard-Skin Pill-Box Hat by Bob Dylan is the best I can do.

"Considering itâs about cannibalism, I guess it qualifies."
Well, the record label company tried to float the idea that Timothy was actually one of the mining mules ... for as far as THAT got them.
However, the band always insisted that Timothy was actually another miner ...

Good morning, Everyone.
Good morning to our
AWESOME
Military, our Allies, and their families.
Thank you, fatima/Kathy, for preparing
the Canteen for today's activities.
I must agree with HoneysuckleTN...
Jensen Ackles Eye of the Tiger.
We're heading for springlike temps on Saturday.
However, it won't last as next week
we'll be back to more seasonal temps.
BUT! it's a start and a nice break
from the arctic blast we had last weekend.
Got to make my rounds.
But, you stay right where you are.
Chat up the troops and their families.
Now remember, the Canteen is OPEN
Come in and sit for a while.
There's always plenty of coffee, tea,
pancakes, conversation, silliness,
and plain old BS
REMEMBER THEM
DEFENDERS OF FREEDOM
FR CANTEEN MISSION STATEMENT Showing support and boosting the morale of our military and our allied military and the family members of the above. Honoring those who have served before.

Beautiful voice...but too high in timbre and light for that particular song (In my very humble opinion) Of course, I was raised on Boris Christoff, so what can I say

I posted a song for a guy who asked for "White Bird" by It's a Beautiful Day.
And thanks for that. I've got the version he did on a solo album (w/o Linda) back in the '70s - nice to hear the original.

Happy Friday, Beachie!
We're supposed to be wet for the next little while, I hope the mountain passes are driveable, heading west to see daughter-girl.
There's also an Outdoorsmens Show going on locally. I might have to check it out.
I just have a few errands to run today so it'll be pretty slow on my end.
How's things your way?
Have a great weekend!
