Worse, he simply isn’t credible. I hope he comes near where I live, so I could see him in person. So many public figures come across differently in person than on media. I hate the internal schism I have between liking what he says he is about, and the alarm system that goes off when I look at the demeanor, the Beck clown show, all of that... stuff. The Seven Mountain Mandate is bizarre and cultish.

Yeah, I like his position papers. He still makes me recoil.

In any other election cycle I think Cruz would win the nomination outright but not in 2016. The GOP electorate, a good many of them, are in full rebellion and will not vote for any elected Republican. That means NO to RINOS like Kasich and Bush, and it also means NO to conservatives like Cruz as well.

if that’s what it is, so be it.

If Trump wins, Cruz doesn’t die. It’s not a death match :)

i’ve said that before.

Cruz will be alive in 2024 and has done well for a first time run.

only thing is he wont be trumps VP and trump would back his vp.

let’s worry about now for now!!

No way. Cruz could actually perform at his best there. The question is would he rule like the constitutionalist he says he is, or would he serve the CFR-bankster wife, or his cultish, crypto-gnostic father?

First his father says that Ted is the “anointed one,” then Glenn Beck says that Cruz has been sent by God to guide us through the Rapture, and Heidi says that Ted will “show us the face of God” whatever that means.

It’s sounding more and more like Cruz would be more suited to building a compound in Guyana, and mixing up Kool-Aid by the tubs for his followers to drink after he doesn’t win the nomination.

He’s even dropping among Evangelicals, probably turned off by the oddball Mormon Glenn Beck.

There is no greater honor for me than to see some of my works regurgitated by others on FR. I expect other FReepers feel the same. ;o)

“Wait. Let me get this straight. The reason we are now supposed to vote for Ted is because there is an opening on the Supreme Court?”

It represents the absurdness of Cruz’s limited appeal.

Let the lamentations of his supporters begin. Bring out the sackcloth and ashes.

That’s a problem then.

It’s strange but the few times I’ve met creeps - Robert Chambers the murderer, for instance - they’ve tended to look like choir boys in person. It’s only in photographs and video that the real personality shows up.

I’m not comparing Cruz to killers, of course. Only that the videos we see may be more truthful than reality!

Yes, Trump is sleazy. That’s why we should support Cruz instead.

Cruz is probably the LEAST sleazy politician of my lifetime.

And the irony is that you support the truly oleaginous Donald Trump!

How many times are you going to copy-paste that comment on today’s threads? Copy-paste-paste-paste-paste ...

Cruz does better in the primaries than he does in the polls.

His manner is off-putting but more troubling is that in a Facebook age where a big smile and perfect teeth are de rigeur, he looks like a missing Munster family member. He should have had facial surgery long ago. He also talks down to people, slowly, like they are so stupid they can't get his brilliance unless he pretends he is a preschool teacher.

He also spoke at a church the other day. We don't need a preacher-in-chief talking about Jesus.

The few times I’ve met creeps right here on FR, you for instance, they tend to accuse others of exactly what they are themselves.
