An interesting, but not likely, political move would be for O to nominate Cruz for the bench.

After the Trump melt down Saturday night, I am a Cruz man too. I had been undecided between the two but solid Cruz now.
Just look at the RCP graphics Trump’s trend line going up
and Cruz trends down to Rubio.

He may be brilliant but the creep factor is an electability issue. Can’t see my millennial kids getting all “Cruz-ed” up. As a VP maybe, but even Rubio would play better than he does. (And I think that Ted is wrong on that one. Rubio’s Spanish IS better!)

Thomas Sowell. Another conservative “intellect” who has been exposed for what he really is during this election cycle. None of them can grasp why Trump is winning. And it’s really pretty simple.
Cruz has an unctuous quality that is off-putting to ordinary voters - I think. He may play well to a small population of people in this country. We’ll see!

Actually, I figured Obama would nominate Bernie or Hillary to the bench.
But Cruz might be a brilliant move on Obama’s part. Then they could focus on taking out Trump.
Interesting thought.
