After the Trump melt down Saturday night, I am a Cruz man too. I had been undecided between the two but solid Cruz now.
Thomas Sowell. Another conservative “intellect” who has been exposed for what he really is during this election cycle. None of them can grasp why Trump is winning. And it’s really pretty simple.

In any other election cycle I think Cruz would win the nomination outright but not in 2016. The GOP electorate, a good many of them, are in full rebellion and will not vote for any elected Republican. That means NO to RINOS like Kasich and Bush, and it also means NO to conservatives like Cruz as well.

First his father says that Ted is the “anointed one,” then Glenn Beck says that Cruz has been sent by God to guide us through the Rapture, and Heidi says that Ted will “show us the face of God” whatever that means.
It’s sounding more and more like Cruz would be more suited to building a compound in Guyana, and mixing up Kool-Aid by the tubs for his followers to drink after he doesn’t win the nomination.
He’s even dropping among Evangelicals, probably turned off by the oddball Mormon Glenn Beck.

I’d put Cruz on the Supreme Court in the Scalia chair.
I like Sowell, but you don’t need a Harvard Law degree to understand the importance of a Supreme Court pick under these circumstances.
So that’s Levin, Limbaugh, Sowell, Vigurie, Bozell,Perkins etc.

I don’t know Ted Cruz OR Donald Trump, really. All I have to go on is filtered reports from themselves and the media.
I don’t trust the “Cruz is a liar” charge because of all the smoke from the flame-fanners. Is it because he is a Christian and has a “counsel of perfection” tied around his neck (see the Bible for some shady children of God)?
Trump is my choice, given the state of things. As I feared, Cruz (fairly or unfairly) is being demonized as a sanctimonious, hypocritical Christian. This means we LOSE with him as our candidate.
There are some here who would get a rush off that, though. A real, sanctimonious high off their own perceived “purity”.
Liars are on full demand.
Scalia would rule him ineligible.
President Trump will nominate his new friend, either Micheal Moore, or Medae Benjamin of Code Pink.
I’ve only one disagreement: Ted was solicitor general, not attorney general.
It’s called a “no-brainer”, so we will soon see how many Republicans have brains. There is no other rational choice now. It’s Ted Cruz or lose.
