Internal poll for Bush PAC shows much tighter SC race: Trump 26, Cruz 24, Jeb 12, Rubio 11--while public surveys give Trump a huge lead
(Excerpt) Read more at twitter.com ...
This is the same Bush “internal poll” that Adrian Gray was touting in NH. LOL. Keep em comin’.
Like it was when he won Iowa?
Not likely. The media hates him. They will focus on the third place again.
It’s been manipulation phase since last February .. when Jeb! was polled as being “way ahead” ... But for Trump, he would be crowned and anointed already.
He would still lose in Nov, but Jeb! would have been crowned by the GROPe party.
If it goes that way then Bush will be the the big winner.
(MSM logic)
Bingo.
Trump is trying to draw W into a knife fight.
He wants to clearly differenciate his brand from the Bushes ahead of the general election.
We’ll see if W takes the bait.
well if Bush came in a close 3rd, then yes, that would be a big story.
But if Trump were to lose SC when he is expected to win BIG, that is a huge story.
New primary, new internal poll, private poll, secret poll, etc.
Recently it was that NH poll that couldn’t be exposed other than its headline numbers, the memorable one being Bush at 20%. That was Kristol’s little attempt.
If you can’t show your work, you don’t have a poll.
What does the R stand for in “GROPe”? Rino?
It would be interesting to know how many democrats are switching parties to vote for Trump
Anecdotally I hear a LOT are doing so
Do they have to switch parties to vote in the SC primaries?
And while I do not think it totally fair to hang 911 on GWB it does raise the image of the burning WTC in people’s minds right before GWB is set to go out stumping for Jebbie on the “ who’s better qualified to defend America” schtick
Absolutely.
I think Trump thinks there will be dirty tricks tried at the Convention to make Jebbie the nominee...
Bush is the only candidate that Trump has to worry about, he is the one the establishment wants nominated. Although watching the debate it appeared that Cruz, Rubio and Bush were working in concert.
Cruz can and will be taken out at any time with his foreign birth if his dirty tricks don’t destroy his chances on his own.
I do believe that Trump doesn’t like the Bushes though and that may be part of it.
I think you are probably right.
I hadn’t thought about that. :)
Dear Bush,
Please refrain from the crack pipe and tell your staff/pacs that meth is not a nutritional supplement. They’re sucking them down like M&Ms.
It could be personal but most likely an acknowledgement that Bush has the PAC $ to stay in the race all the way to the convention. I’m clearly not a Trump supporter but its likely Trump’s strategy is aimed at Bush’s PAC donors, to demoralize them to a point to stop donating. Just a thought.
Good point.
Something had Trump’s bloomers in a bind.
It could have been the boos from the audience when he’s used to wild cheers at every word.
But it could have been that he had seen some discouraging polling.
Six days, baby.
I don’t agree. I’m not for Jeb at all but the person who came across as someone’s colicky baby was Trump.
Something had him upset or was it just his cycle?
I thought the same thing myself for awhile....but now I think its just the fact that he thinks Bush is a loser and he will not stop punching him until Bush is out of the race.
As long as he whack Bush he is seen as strong by clobbering something.
Both are possible at the same time however.....haha
1) This has a certain amount of credibility coming from the Bush camp because it shows Jeb Bush near the back of the pack.
2) But I don’t think any kind of internal polling data explains Trumps conduct in the last debate. Ockham’s Razor instructs us that the the likely reason why Trump acted like he hates the Bushes, is because he really, really hates the Bushes.
