Supreme Court Associate Justice Antonin Scalia died of a heart attack, Presidio County Judge Cinderella Guevara told a Dallas-Fort Worth television station on Sunday.

Are you kidding me? This is satire, right? Or is she the coroner and dog catcher also.
I hope someone tells the Repubs in Congress stonewall Obama’s plans to replace Scalia ‘or else’
That was fast.
Justice Scalia was 79 years old, and well overweight. A heart attack should come as no surprise. I
‘m sad at his passing, but he was in TX on a hunting trip. something he totally enjoyed, with people he liked. Lots of worse ways to go.
Somebody compared Scalia’s death today with the death of JFK because of the effect it was going to have on America. Weird they both occurred in Texas.

Her day job is as a scullery maid.
Pinocchio was unavailable for comment.
I read that Justice Scalia was an only child. What did his parents die of and at what age? He was heavier...diabetic? We dont know his medical of family history, but if he smoked, was (visibly) over weight; lead a sedentary lifestyle, and had the advanced age of 79 a MI (complete blockage of an artery) is not only plausible but eventually expected.
At the age of 53 my husband had a 100% blockage of his LAD. His symptoms? Profound and “different” nausea and a sore left shoulder (he was coaching our sons AllStar team and threw batting practice each night). He is a thin, non traditional Type 2’diabetic (strong family history). I should have called an ambulance, but he didn’t want that, (IF YOU THINK YOU SHOULD CALL AN AMBULANCE—CALL—IMMEDIATELY no matter what the patient says!) but I drove him to our local ER. As their ER entrance was under construction, I dropped him at the door (no parking was available) and he walked in on his own. In the less than 10 minutes it took for me to park & walk to the hospital, he collapsed and they called a Code Blue, rushed him to the Cath Lab and an incredibly skilled surgeon got all the clot (100% blockage) inserted a stent in his LAD (known as the “Widow Maker.”)
My point is, from the onset of my husbands symptoms, to his ER collapse was less than an hour. I truly believe the Lord was looking out for him as I recognized his coloring was “off” and “something” seemed wrong. Had he just “laid down” to rest, he would have died. This is what I can see happened to Justice Scalia, and I hope his family records (particularly his fathers age and cause of death) are researched and released to put an end to conspiracy theories.
Most judges in rural counties here have “regular” jobs doing something else-they only put on the glass slippers and get in the pumpkin coach whenever a judge is needed-which isn’t often unless there is a disaster or a shoot-out...
I was thinking the same thing...who names their kid Cinderella???
Hmm.
So that’s what Arkancide is called now?
MmmHmmm.
Heart disease is the #1 cause of death in the United States. Or is it? Maybe it’s just aliens and the Illuminati eliminating their enemies.
I didn't hear anything about an autopsy being ordered until the article associated w/this post.
In fact, I thought earlier today, that no autopsy was ordered due to this article:
http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2016/02/14/official-scalia-died-heart-attack/80375798/#
In this article the judge IDs the cause of death due to a conversation with Scalia's personal Dr.. The article did not explicitly say that an autopsy was not ordered. What made me think one was not ordered was this part:
"As part of my investigation, one of the things I did ask the sheriff and the U.S. Marshal: 'Were there any signs of foul play?' And they said, 'Absolutely not.' At that time I still wanted to be careful, and asked them if (Scalia's) physician would call me."
The justice's personal doctor called her at 8 p.m. Saturday night. She said the physician told her that Scalia had a shoulder problem last week and underwent an MRI. Scalia also suffered several chronic ailments, Guevara said.
"I felt comfortable what I knew was going on with him physically," she said."
Does that sound like he ordered an autopsy to you? Usually, when under a doctors care, no autopsy required. So it seems to me that Guevara, a judge - not a doc, entered cause of death as MI on the death cert. but did not order an autopsy.
Toxicology? Takes longer than a day for that.
Fairy God Mothers?
“from the onset of my husbands symptoms, to his ER collapse was less than an hour”
If you don’t mind my asking, what was your husband doing that day before symptoms?
I had a discussion w/my doc once concerning symptoms, etc.. He had indicated that for this type of case, there is typically some form of exertion that the patient performs before experiencing the symptoms. It doesn’t happen when you’re just sitting there.
My co-worker was a consistent runner. His log showed 6 days short of 17,000 days running at least 5 miles. Some days were marathons. The record broke with a sprained ankle from playing wallyball. The day he died of a heart attack at age 44, he had biked 15 miles to work, ran 5 miles at lunch, played wallyball after aork and biked 15 miles home. Fitness is no guarantee. His father died of a heart attack too.
According to another thread here on FR, they talked to his doctor who relayed the information about his not feeling well but went to TX anyway.
Do not know whether that is true or not. It would seem to me that the doctor would have insisted he go into the hospital for tests. But what do I know!
don’t care if Justice Scalia was 115 years old, smoked three packs a day, shot whiskey with bacon/mayo sandwiches & was on kidney dialysis, FULL AUTOPSY REPORT PERIOD!!!
