Donald Trump leads in Florida, but Marco Rubio is in second place, according to a new poll from Florida Southern College.
The survey found Trump maintains the top spot in Florida among registered Republican voters with 27 percent. Rubio is in second with 20 percent, followed by Ted Cruz at 12 percent and Ben Carson at 6 percent. Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush is fifth with 4 percent, according to the survey.

That would be a bad move in my opinion.
IIRC, Florida is winner-take-all so 1st place is the only relevant place.
Wow, being second and third is all the rave these days. The headline is ridiculous
I hate to say it but I think Christie might make a tough VP candidate and give the Donald a real shot at stealing NJ.
Snicker...
Florida Winner take all CLOSED primary. Likely will decide winner.
I have.
I would not trust a weather report from this place . It's a glorified community college .
Ooorah!
Semper Fi!
As a new Florida resident, I’m ready to register this week and vote for Trump. Think I’ll make a difference?
Apparently many people move to Florida each and every day.
Hello, I’m Jeb Bush and I have the clap.
After just watching Rubio, just wondering why sometimes he speaks at speed of light speed, appears to perspire profusely, and has dry month.
When I google these objective observations, one particular agent/symptom pops up more frequently.
This poll was taken Jan. 30 through Feb. 6
Basically all pre debate and pre New Hampshire, when Rubio was at his height of his poll numbers.
I expect Rubio is doing MUCH worse now.
BUT, it doesn’t matter, because Florida is winner take all.
Clap on
Clap off
Clap on
Clap off
The Clapper!
What did your research find? Cokehead characteristics? That s the rumor.
Profuse perspiration, Dry Mouth, speech rapid and speeded ??
I won’t say what comes up when I do a google search.
They need to stop this potential match-up to Hillary crap. It just gives the Dems a chance to influence the Republican primaries and it’s based on squat, there are no campaigns to measure.
That poll is completely bogus.
Here’s the latest poll out of Florida, CBS/YouGov, date Jan 21.
Trump 41
Cruz 22
Rubio 18
Bush 4
SC, date of primary, Jan 23. NBC/WSJ/Marist
Trump 36
Cruz 20
Rubio 14
Bush 9
Kasich 1 (yes that’s 1)
Anyone think these polls will change enough for Rubio to make up a 22 pt deficit, or Bush make up a 27 pt deficit.
Or Cruz make up a 16 pt deficit.
You are quoting a poll from 3 weeks ago as more accurate than one done in the past week?
“I guess they don’t care for Canadians much in FL”
They love Canadians, snowbirds are a huge part of the economy.
Doesn’t mean they want thinking he can be President of our Country.
