What’s left of the Clinton brigades will start to go scorched Earth on Sanders. Whatever bridges there are will be destroyed.
DEMs can substitute after the convention. If the nominee drops out, they don’t have to go empty handed. They can even swap after the general election!

Look at it this way. Trump makes a promise. He’s always done his best to fulfill his promises or he could not be so successful. If he is President he will still do his best to fulfill his promises. He loves America and the American Dream. Maybe we should relax a bit and let him have his shot. I’m sure he will gather the best team to do the job.
Crass, yes. Hope he tones it down. But he does seem to have a blessed life and wants to share it with us.
I appreciated that post. Yes, people can change. I hope we always give each other permission to grow up, without being tricked if the change is just political theater. That’s what’s hard to tell.
