Yeah, nice of him to help a sociopath sexual predator like candidate. Donald is all heart. ( nothing says classy like calling someone a sociopath )
When I saw it, I figured Trump insisted on saving the final walkout position for himself (though I think Kasich stole that anyway). But I suppose it can be equally spun this way.
But two opposite conclusions.
I suspect his serial cheating on his wives of the moment shows more about Trump’s character than waiting on his friend Ben - who is acting as Trump’s surrogate in attacking Cruz over nothing.
“It would have been very easy for Trump to walk by Ben, just like all the other candidates did.”
Rubio almost ran them over running to the stage. He should have walked.
Yes, Trump acknowledged and asked and stood with Carson. But I think Carson thought he was going to be introduced ahead of some of the lower-polling guys. I also think Trump probably didn’t mind the idea of hanging back to be the last on the stage. Kasich, however, who got the favorable rollout, held back to go on last and get the last-guy applause. So Trump graciously came out before it grew more awkward.
Agreed—Rubio, Cruz, and Kasich didn’t look so good.
This is funny spin, but it definitely looked like both Trump and Carson were confused by the inept ABC handling of the intro.
Carson walked most of the way out after his name was called, then stopped right in from of the camera. Someone from behind was telling him and motioning him to go on out.
Gentle Ben was practicing his bit of upstaging and passive aggression. Trump could have told Ben that his name was previously called, but Trump too wanted in on the upstaging.
Pretending it was anything different is very telling on why the DONEald’s poutin and cussin gets your short attention.
This is what happens when the moderator/announcers think they are the stars and are facing the audience. It is telling that they turned their back to the candidates.
Compassionate move by Trump.
“Moderators” continuing to demonstrate that they are flaming a$$holes.
I just rewatched it. I didn’t have the same take as this article last night, and I don’t have the opinion rewatching it.
Trump didn’t hear his name called, either.
They called Trump, he’s standing far behind Carson at the curtain, didn’t hear his name over the applause (didn’t move forward) and is obviously told by the stage hand to move forward, which he does seconds later to stand with Carson.
Both are obviously waiting for their names to be called.
This was a minor miscue on the part of both candidates, easy to understand why it happened, and no big deal.
This is my biggest concern about Trump supporters, and Conservative Treehouse is the worst offender: this idea that Trump can do no wrong and everything he does is planned or noble.
This post at CT, that Trump was being so noble because he didn’t hear his name, it’s just silliness. The necessity to impune perfection on a candidate is a worrisome quality.
That reaction alone could swing Carson voters to Trump.
Their names were both called by the woman. They both stood there because neither of them heard their name called. Then Kasich was forgotten altogether, lol. Just a really awkward moment and nothing more.

Yes, I agree. I loved him him that moment. What a great President he will be.
That kind of behavior is what distinguishes true ladies and true gentlemen — doing whatever it takes to make others feel comfortable, and having empathy. And it appears that his children were raised to observe similar etiquette.
And Ted fails the leadership test. Again.
It takes a lot of courage to make split second decisions like this, and it shows a remarkable insight into the man’s character.
Class. Manners when it really counts. A bead on another person.
Good video.
I thought so immediately. The others were only concerned with themselves. Trump showed class and leadership. True class is making the other feel comfortable.
For all those who think Trump is an egotistical blowhard and Cruz is a Christian paragon, look to their actions.
It would be amazing to have someone like Trump as our President. He is magnanimous and generous. We haven’t known a President like that since Reagan. though W did have some moments.
Thank you for posting this...
It was so heartwarming to see one candidate stand in solidarity and support for another. Showed a lot of class on part of Trump!!
