I’m not sure how you consider Kennedy saying that it was Ms. Truman’s problem was “slimy” humor. On the other hand given the noble sounding boasting about the high moral tone that he, Nixon, would bring to the office, I found it quite shocking to hear the language he taped when he was talking in private with his staff. I don’t know if you were an adult at that time, but a lot of people were pretty shocked by i at the time.

If everyone in the bar laughed, they must have appreciated the sexual innuendo. I don’t ever remember hearing this before. All the talk afterwards was of the sweaty upper lip. Anyway, certainly not worth arguing about.
I recently heard the incriminating tapes of Nixon at a B&N book signing. The worst was his selling of an ambassadorship, right there on the tape. We all heard it. Amazing.

I can’t remember now who the two people were who said they didn’t hear Carson say he had doubts when they didn’t call his name second.
He didn’t say it when he first came to the podium but when he was asked the first question, after Trump and Cruz. He said when he didn’t hear his name called second, he wondered if they thought he had already dropped out (not that he had been eliminated). It was a joke. I just went back to the tape and checked.
I feel very strongly regarding Cruz’s illegitimate quest for the Presidency.
I am no fan of his and any slamming going his way is fine by me.
Too bad that he is not a NBC. That is an accident of birth which he refuses to accept.
He causes great anger in me because of this campaign. He knows that it is wrong, and many thousands of others do as well. Anything goes when it comes to taking him down.

I should jump in a chat room, aren’t we ALL professionals who should share our knowledge?! That is really one of the funniest things I’ve read.
If the “public use” criteria is adhered to rigidly, then, as Trump said, how does a project like the Keystone Pipeline get built? Put it under gov’t ownership?

Ah, but there’s a catch. If you read Trump’s position paper carefully, “legal” gets much harder.
BTW, please link to a vid of a Trump rally and state the time in the vid where Trump uses the word “expedite” in regard to illegals coming back in legally. I have not heard Trump say that, tho’ I surely don’t have time to listen to every stump speech he makes. (Maybe 1 a week).
