So he ordered his henchmen that she be killed — a year ago — and five days later, she confronted him. How does that constitute a year-long ordeal?

So she was in a phone conversation with him, and got him to confess to the crime?
He thought he was talking to someone he ordered killed?

I used to think crime writers and movie producers had great imaginations until I started watching Investigative Discovery channel. Most of those novels and movies are based on true crime.
