Contrary to FALSE MEDIA reports, Dr. Ben Carson is not suspending his presidential campaign

Rubio in until the convention. He won’t drop out now. He’ll have too much cash, to much publicity, and too many of the conservative commentariat on his side.
I will take Trump, Cruz, or Rubio over anything the socialists throw at us.
On most conservative issues, Rubio does fine. He’s extremely weak on immigration, and he’s George W. Bush on amnesty. But, I voted for Bush...twice.
I am pleased that Ted Cruz apologized for his dirty tricks. He doesn’t need to win that way. I hope Steve King was reprimanded too.
Look closely at the size of the font for “Don” vs. the size of the fonts on the rest of the newsletter. Also, look closely and you’ll see white boxes, where someone “cut” stuff using photoshop.
You are claiming that Cruz’s campaign lied. That means they knew that they were telling an untruth. How can you know that? How can you know what they were told?
I’m not talking about the mailers. I think they’re tacky but apparently the IA Republican Party has sent these things out in the past and there was no outcry so maybe IA is used to this stuff. I don’t know.
What I’m talking about is this instance, where Cruz’s campaign repeated what CNN had reported, and now people here -in the name of Christ - are saying Cruz is a sleazy, un-Christian creep who deliberately lied to try to get votes. I’m just saying that maybe you folks are doing the same thing that you accuse him of doing: you’re believing what you’re told without checking out the facts.
And at this point I should say that it might not have been Rubio’s people either. It could be that Carson told CNN he was shutting down shop after the IA caucus but then when it was reported he realized that wasn’t fair to his supporters. Maybe he didn’t think CNN would report it. Again, I don’t know. We need to know what Carson actually told CNN and what CNN said to other campaigns. The whole story isn’t out there, but it needs to be investigated - and CNN is right smack dab in the middle of that because at a critical time with no time for their listeners to try to verify the claims, they reported very serious information about Carson’s campaign that Carson denies.
Yes, Rubio’s in it for now...but he can be taken out by Trump and Cruz. Christie is doing his best to focus on Rubio right now.
I will vote for Rubio over a democrat, but Rubio is very week on immigration and trade...these are two of my most important issues. Our country will be lost. I may vote for Rubio, but I will have lost my hope for real change that will put our country on the right track.
Cruz has just apologized for what happened to Carson’s campaign last night....lol, it was a “misunderstanding”.. ...right.
Will he apologize for taking his votes?
Yes, it was a mistake to believe CNN on anything (yet I see you’re using a cnn link...)
When is CNN going to apologize?
Thanks. I also noticed that items were cropped from this inage, especially what appears to be the word “browser,” up top.
Someone posted tweets from voters that they were in the rooms with the Cruz staff stating Carson has suspended his campaign.
I hope this is not true, especially after the mailing crap what happened, but when it there is a bunch of people tweeting the same around the same it does cause for some concern for me.

Nice now that it worked.
Post 7 . Another freeper has provided some proof.
The thing I liked about Cruz was he was not the dirty establishment and was honest.
Agree.
First the mailing list and now this.
CNN spreads it , thus making Carson voters switch their vote.
There is more to this and it is down right wrong , regardless of who has done it.
Possible evidence. Without knowing exactly what the Cruz people had been told by CNN, we don’t know why they said that Carson would have a “big announcement” next week.
We know that the other things that Cruz’s people said were just reiterating what CNN reported. Did CNN lie? We know that what they reported is being denied by Carson. Does that make CNN’s reports a lie? And if so, then why blame Cruz’s people for giving CNN the benefit of the doubt? To say it is a lie when a person believes the disinformation reported by CNN would make liars out of a lot of people, even though they had no way of knowing it was false information. We could say that Cruz was deceived but I think it is bearing false witness to say outright that he lied, that he used slimy tactics, etc. Yet that is going on right here at FR.
None of us knows exactly what happened, except that CNN gave a report that Carson now says is not true. Cruz’s people passed on that information and urged Carson supporters to consider voting for Cruz instead. Is that slimy?
Why? Does that change what Cruz did? Does it change that one of his spokespersons didn’t deny it? Does it change that now that there is blow back Cruz is “apologizing” for it?
No it doesn’t. This is a pattern. Same as always with all these people. Anything to win. Which means they don’t care about the country they only care about themselves.
Last night when our political team saw the CNN post saying that Dr. Carson was not carrying on to New Hampshire and South Carolina, our campaign updated grassroots leaders just as we would with any breaking news story," Cruz said in a statement first shared with CNN. "That's fair game. What the team then should have done was send around the follow-up statement from the Carson campaign clarifying that he was indeed staying in the race when that came out."
You would think that anyone involved in the conservative/tea party movement would be well aware of the possibility that the MSM might spread untruths or unverified rumors in their quest to be first with a story or to advance their agenda.
The Cruz campaign, with its vaunted ground game, could have easily contacted the Carson campaign to verify the truth of what CNN was reporting before acting on it.
But they didn't. That took it out of the "fair game" category.
I see Cruz apologizing for not updating people when Carson clarified his position, which seems to have happened about the same time as the caucus started which was a busy time. CNN has not apologized.
And the “Christians” here on FR are calling Cruz a liar and a slime even though they have no idea what Cruz’s people knew and when - and knowing that what Cruz’s people said reiterated what CNN had reported.
For my money, judging by the information I have and what I am able to see, Cruz is the one taking the high ground, apologizing for a misunderstanding. The Cruz campaign did not misunderstand CNN; CNN reported it wrong. But Cruz is willing to be the gracious person in the middle of all this.
Unlike those here on FR who seem to want to use this to destroy Cruz’s reputation, which I think is the subject of the commandment on bearing false witness.
I’ve seen “Christians” here on FR objecting to Cruz asking his supporters to put on the full armor of God and to pray. How can a Christian object to the full armor of God and prayer?
I have no idea who I’ll vote for, but I know from what I see that I hate politics. I see why God says through the apostle Paul that we are to avoid “party spirit”. I used to think that was about drunkenness, but it’s really about a specific kind of intoxication - the intoxification of “my guy or the highway”. It was wrong when it was Apollos v Cephas v Paul, and it’s wrong when it’s Cruz v Trump v Carson v Rubio... because it’s not about truth or the grace of God; it’s about humans wanting to force their plan rather than trusting God to work it out if/when the simple truth is known.
I don’t know the truth of all that happened. I’d like to know. But in the meantime I don’t think it would be right to throw rocks at somebody when the jury is still out.
Carson was finished off by the pyramid granaries nonsense. While it it is true that the pyramids were never used as granaries (and that actual ancient granaries have indeed survived, they just weren't pyramids; the pyramids were tombs and cenotaphs), it has zero to do with the Presidency. He sat back and didn't develop much of a distinctive message and stay on that message, or respond effectively to attacks. It ain't a picnic to run for President.
He’ll send them back in a voter violation envelope. :?)
It’s not a hoax. Why do you keep saying that? Did CNN retract their story??
For posting it too much. Not because it is not true.
