Even by the extraordinary standards of Donald Trump, it was a creepy chat-up line.

How quickly the conservatives we voted to Congress tossed away all their principles to get along with the power structure in DC, and not care a wit about their voters back home who sent them there to clean up the mess and not become a part of it. That’s one of the biggest reasons Trump is a major player today. If the GOP even lifted a finger to do just a fraction of the things we expected them to do such as roll back Obamacare and follow through on stopping illegal immigration, then Trump would be irrelevant in American politics today.
