72% of GOP voters depise/loathe/detest Trump
You can have this dance but I don’t do the fox trot anymore.

I despised Romney but I still voted for him.
I’m most interested to see whether the YUGE crowds and polls are reflected in the caucus voting.
Mitt was NOT a megalomanical narcissist.
“Barely three years in the senate and heâs never sponsored the first piece of major legislation and can find no other senators to endorse him?”
Ouch! Sounds just like Obama’s Senate record.
Close to the end all of the polls start getting more truthful. They want to be accurate.
- Sunday
A 40 percent chance of rain, mainly before noon. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 42. Northwest wind 6 to 11 mph. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
- Sunday Night
Partly cloudy, with a low around 26. West northwest wind 6 to 8 mph.
- Monday
Mostly cloudy, with a high near 37. West northwest wind around 6 mph becoming light and variable.
- Monday Night
Snow likely, mainly after midnight. Cloudy, with a low around 28. Blustery, with a northeast wind 6 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
He was a wuss. Refused to fight.
I’d rather have a megalomanical narcissist like Patton than a passivist like Chamberlain.
When all is said and done, I like Cruz. I really want him in 2nd place, and I want a Trump/Cruz ticket. I hope he can pull it off.
Levin has posted hit piece after hit piece against Trump on Facebook for the last 3 weeks and I understand why, because his daughter’s fiance works for Cruz. Imagine that? He is losing a lot of his listeners because of it.
You hold tight onto that delusion...hope it keeps you warm at night..
We’ll see which way this will go on Monday. Probably won’t get results til Tuesday.
Seltzer usually nails it. Looking good for Trump. (Although she has him under 30%, unlike most polls).
Iowa is one place where lots of candidates divide up the vote. That will make it close.
You know, I hate to be a stinker but it's Levin's fiancee's son - not "daughterâs fiance". See HERE among others.
Not a big deal by itself but indicative of the depth of understanding most (yes, most) Trump supporters and Trump himself bring to the table. Embarassing.
And then there's this little gem a few paragraphs down (emphasis mine) -
"The poll suggests there could be growing Trump fatigue as well in a state he's visited often in recent months. Almost half of those likely to attend the Republican caucuses say they've become less comfortable with the idea of him winning the nomination, while 49 percent say that of his prospects of representing the U.S. to the rest of the world and 45 percent on his possibility of winning the presidency."
Trump fatigue? Imagine that! Ya'll don't start the bus to New Hampshire just yet...
When polls are this close, folks tend to make a hard choice, going to one or the other of the top 2. I.e., Huckabee voters might swing to Trump, or to Cruz, rather than feel their vote was ‘wasted.’
My memory is that folks go to the caucuses where each candidate has a rep who tries to persuade uncommitted voters, or those favoring low polling candidates, to swing to their guy. It’s not like a voting booth is set up and you go in without a great deal of discussion/persuasion going on. Mind you, these are your neigbors so it’s pretty cordial (generally).
I only went to one IA caucus, 28 years ago, so memory is a bit rusty (to put it mildly). It was a wonderful experience and a whole ‘other’ way of looking at democracy in action.
I guess it wasn’t freezing for the 1000+ people who attended the Trump rally outside at the airport today. Maybe they heated the outdoors.
How many times have we seen people lined up outside for a couple of hours waiting to get into a Trump venue?
