My replies obviously flustered you.
There are two ingredients.
One is that there is a Swastika -- it is an ancient symbol. But it has been ...tarnished, just as the name "Adolph" has.
The other, is that there is an elephant. Yes, India has elephants. I have been informed that this elephant is a minor deity. But in the US, an elephant is the symbol of the GOP.
Either one is OK in isolation.
But put them together...given that the left refers to all Republicans, especially movement conservatives, as Nazis?
It's as bad as Bush '41 saying "Message: I care" or Romney's "Binders full of women."
