Trump Campaign Manager Reveals Fox News Debate Chief Has Daughter Working for Rubio
Breitbart ^ | 1/28/2016 | Matthew Boyle

Corey Lewandowski, the campaign manager for 2016 GOP frontrunner Donald Trump, exposed a blatant conflict of interest on Wednesday that the Fox News Channel has been hiding for months.

Lewandowski showed how Fox News has been hiding the fact that Fox News Channel Vice President Bill Sammon has a daughter working for the campaign of the Washington establishment-backed Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL).

Sammon's daughter, Brooke Sammon, is Rubio's national press secretary, and obviously both have a vested interest in the success of the Rubio campaign and the demise of the other campaigns.

CNN's Erin Burnett asked Lewandowski about Fox News's controversial anti-Trump statement from Tuesday evening--and specifically the network's claim that the top Trump aide had allegedly made threats against Fox News anchor and Thursday debate co-moderator Megyn Kelly--when he responded by dropping the explosive revelation.

Lewandowski revealed two things for the first time: that the executive he was discussing matters with was Bill Sammon, and that Sammon's daughter Brooke Sammon works for Rubio's campaign, giving the first-term Floridian Senator an obvious boost. That blatant conflict of interest has never before been disclosed to the viewers of Fox News by the network.

"Not only did I not make threats, but the conversation with the Fox News executive--his daughter works for the Rubio campaign, he's one of the executives on Fox that writes the debate questions so maybe he has his own ulterior motives, I'm not sure," Lewandowski told Burnett in the Wednesday evening CNN interview. He went on:

But his daughter is a senior executive on the Rubio campaign, maybe he should disclose that before he's writing the debate questions for Fox.

She doesn’t work for Trump, the issue is whom she does work for.

EXCLUSIVE!

[Blind Gossip] This Presidential Candidate engaged in some shady behavior many years ago. He was arrested after some sort of activity went down in car, in a park, late at night. That area of the park was notorious drug deals and gay sex.

While the Candidate conveniently leaves this incident out of any biography about his early life, that information can be confirmed through public records.

However, we have some additional, EXCLUSIVE info that may provide some context – and a bit of a twist – to our story!

The Candidate later wound up living with the man with whom he was caught in the car.

That man was eventually charged by local authorities for running a business out of his home. The focus of the business? Gay p*rn!

BONUS CLUE: The staff person who leaked this to us is certainly going to get the boot.

I’m laughing that you guys just can’t get over your hate and see what is right in front of you. Look at the post just above yours. If you can’t see the deliberate attempts to influence voters, they perhaps it is you that is so easily swayed.

Biggest problem with your made up scenario, it does NOT exist. I know, now you can also mention that Levin’s soon to be step son doesn’t influence anything either.

http://www.foxnews.com/transcript/2015/08/02/flimsy-trump-spousal-rape-story-media-rip-huckabee-on-holocaust/

KURTZ: I spoke with Chris Stirewalt, Fox’s Digital Politics Editor, and a key member of that team.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

KURTZ: Chris Stirewalt, welcome.

CHRIS STIREWALT, FOX NEWS DIGITAL POLITICS EDITOR: Great to be here as always.

KURTZ: You’ve been to this rodeo before. How do you and Megyn Kelly, and Bret Baier and Chris Wallace go about formulating your questions, knowing that the candidates are going to try to pivot to their talking points?

STIREWALT: Well, the first thing is we have a secret weapon and that is Bill Salmon, who is the best at not only team cohesion and keeping everybody on point about what the point is, but in crafting the questions.

KURTZ: Washington Bureau Chief.

STIREWALT: Absolutely. He’s Managing Editor and a great mind and a great journalist and that’s a big help. But the idea is this, people forget about what we do and in the discussion of this debate we hear well, what will Trump say to Bush and what will Walker say to Rubio, and what will they say? They are forgetting what this is, and if you go back and look what we did, and you remember you covered it — what we did in 2012. We have built some diabolically tough questions that are difficult to answer. You’re not going to hear Megyn Kelly or Bret Baier or Chris Wallace go out and ask — remember the question from CNN in 2012 to Newt Gingrich about his swinger wife allegation and oh, just awful, that stuff. You’re not going to hear that. You’re going to hear questions about what matters to Republican primary voters as they try to make their choice.

RE:”Why is choosing the moderators for a Presidential candidate debate more important to Fox News then having the front running Presidential candidate at the debate?’

Better question :Why does Trump as a single candidate think he can pick the moderators for a debate against a number of others?

Hillary fixed the Dem debates for her favor and the libs figured it out and now jumped to Sanders. Trump wants to be a Queen Hillary?

Trump's pretty arrogant to think that he can dictate who he wants and doesnt want to ask him questions?

Good for Cruz and Levin calling out Trump for cowardliness.

That right there shows just why this whole "debate" process is totally messed up.

The "debates" are all about "Hahaha!! I got him on the nuclear triad question! WOOHOO!! SCORE!!!"

P
He resolved to go back to Florida and get his life on a path to success. Instead the 18-year-old added to his troubles after returning to Miami for summer break: He was arrested one night in May 1990 for being in a crime-plagued public park after closing time, according to police records and an interview with a friend who was cited with Rubio that night.

The previously unreported misdemeanor, which eventually was dismissed, tugged Rubio into the criminal-justice system just one year after the conviction of his brother-in-law in a major drug-trafficking case had exacted a devastating toll on his family.

Right it is cowardly to NOT challenge the slime tactics of the Junk media and “brave” to knuckle under to their demands!

Senator Cruz, if elected are YOU going to be in charge or is Fox News going to be dictate TO you then also?

In this case, I suspect the daughter got the job, based at least in part on who her father is. I could be wrong, but I doubt it.

Well, since she doesn’t have a daddy who can just give her a job, like Trump’s kids, maybe she has to work and they offered her a job.

RE:”Who says he has to debate Hillary.”

If he plans on just handing the election to Hillary then he doesn't have to.

And given his friendship with the Clinton's its easy to imagine that it was his plan all along, if it goes that route.

What we need to know from Fox: Who put out the snarky press release that was not funny?

This guy? Or someone else?

Why have moderators at all? This should be a debate between the candidates, not one between the candidates and the press. Let the candidates ask each other the questions. You only need one moderator to keep time. Problem solved.

Isn’t this one of the complaints time and again, by ‘outsiders’ who run against the insiders?

They’re all inbred.
