BLOOMFIELD, Iowa - James and Brooks Schooley are raising a young family in this tiny Iowa community. They support Ted Cruz and brought their kids to an old church near the Bloomfield town square to hear the candidate, along with Iowa Rep. Steve King and former Texas Gov. Rick Perry.
The Schooleys like Cruz's faith and his fealty to the Constitution. But their choice is also shaped by their wariness of the Republican front-runner, Donald Trump.
"He's not principled," James Schooley told me, referring to Trump. "He just goes by emotion."
"I feel like he doesn't stick to the Constitution the way Ted Cruz would," added Brooks. "Once you go away from that, then where's your standard? I mean, you can do anything."...

Perfect.
I think, like his girlfriend, he needs to see some other guy!
See my #58.
You might prefer Cruz (as do I) and still understand great strategy and execution.
...unstable and embarrassing.

Well we’ll if NH and SC come to the same conclusion. As far as Iowa, Trump should
never have been a factor. The fact that he seems to be should be causing some concern
over in the Cruz camp. We’ll see how the voting populace reacts when we get to some
voting states.
Genuflect when you say that!!! lol
“Once you go away from that, then where’s your standard? I mean, you can do anything.”
Populism is what Populism does.
Or dare I say,
Pretend it is 2012, and Romney was to face another debate with Cathy Crowley after she steered the one before to Obama. Would he be smart to refuse Crowley moderating the second debate?
Cowardly...and it will probably backfire with the voters of Iowa.
Been gettin’ kinda hard for me to listen to Bill Bennett lately. I get the impression he’s a little out of touch.
Thanks for posting this and giving us another thread to post the reality of MGYN Rather and her boy friend old Murduck!
Everybody, now knows that the Faux new partner Google had a special surprise for the candidates, aimed particularly at Trump.
Good move Trump and FoxNews has a mole, IMHO.
Google had invited three YouTube personalities to ask questions at the Jan. 28 GOP debate - including a Muslim advocate who describes Donald Trump as a bigot and who visually portrayed him as being in agreement with national socialist Adolf Hitler.’

WOW. Fox was really going to bring out the long knives by way of youtuber surrogates. Republicans do not want to hear these questions. This is why these debates are a joke and why it is so important that Trump is not doing this debate. The liberal media (including Fox and all of the morning programs, not just the usual suspects like CNN) should not be running the Republican nomination process.
In fact, if/when Trump gets the nomination, the RNC i.e. Trump needs to ensure that no liberal media gets to run the debate. We should have no more acting like the moderators are neutral. When they are not. Instead, they rehearse and share the questions ahead of time with their candidate of choice.
Good for Trump. The charade of these debates finally has had the curtain pulled back. Why should the liberal hacks living in NYC, DC and VA get to manipulate how the candidates are viewed.
So tired of the lies and manipulations of the liberal press against conservatives.
Go Trump Go!
The plant liberal you tubers are probably going to be so upset after having rehearsed their attack lines against Trump, or their pro Rino candidate lines for Bush, et al.

MGYN Rather strikes out with her boy friend Murduck!
Team Faux has inflicted Macycide on them selves.
What Reagan did in 1980 is irrelevant. That was still the world of the Three networks.
And you better like it that way!
Well, you should keep in mind that for all of Trump's talk of "winning", he has lost a LOT as well. Not just the bankruptcies, but a lot of failed business ventures (two failed marriages), etc., etc. You should be even more concerned that in a lot of the cases where Donald "won", he did so by making the people he was in business with lose. There are a lot of deals he has been part of where he enticed other people to invest in bad deals, then he took his money and left, leaving them holding the bag. So what makes you think we the people aren't going to be left holding the bag for the bad deals he would make as president???
Poor little baby Trumpsy.
No, more relevant than ever. Trump has now effectively exercised a massive smack to the snout of ALL media. Brilliant.
But then he’d have to moderate himself. It could never happen.
America.
I bet one of them would refuse to show.
