Many broadcast hours and column inches are sure to be used today and tomorrow regarding the decision by Donald Trump to skip the Fox News debate in Iowa.

Predicatively 90% of those reports will most likely circle around a Donald Trump -vs- Megyn Kelly narrative. Obviously that aspect will be the preferred hook used by Fox News to avoid sunlight; it is also profoundly wrong.

You make a very good point about Trump having good “intel” that tipped him off toward the ambush they had set for him. You can just see how that might have played out if FNC had succeeded in springing some muzzie woman on him out of the blue.

So to all your Trump haters here are two points to ponder:

1. Trump is not “afraid of a girl (a 45 year old one, that is).

2. He foiled Fox’s VERY unfair plan to ambush him on live TV

3. His intel (intelligence information) is pretty damn good, probably because he has many friends inside FNC, and

4. This is the kind of man we need leading the nation, one who out-thinks the other side and acts preemptively rather than one who bows to them and apologizes.

Great clips; it shows how biased Megan is towards Trump. I am not a big Trump fan; but the tone Megan used when asking Trump questions during the first debate showed her bias towards Trump. Everyone talks about the question on his attitude towards women as being a fair question. It was not the question it was the tone. When the audience laughed at his response about him only calling Rosie O'Donnell a fat pig it clearly got to her and it showed in her tone and attitude.
In addition, Megan has been non stop hating on Trump and his supporters every night on her show.

I think the whole captive non-constitutional system of "running for President" needs to be deconstructed. This system is a creature of 1) media, which pretends to be conveying information while working in the business of selling time to candidates; 2) consultants, who require no further comment; 3) Polls, which are simply sophisticated jury-tampering devices, and 4) the "donor class" (imagine what Jefferson and Madison would say about THAT!).

These powerful forces (media, consultants, polls, and donors) have carved out a role for themselves which, since their collaboration began, has tended to drive candidacies towards uniformity of policy, if not openly, at least in terms of final result.

The wrecking ball that is Donald Trump is now taking a swing at the real problem.

thanks. Good find. Fox and Meg claim they haven't a problem being fair to Trump. You and I as many others have noticed this for quite sometime. I'm glad it's out there for more to see. Trump stated the obvious for sometime. Moderators in republican debates over the years like to be the stars instead of focusing on the candidates positions. I'm glad Trump calls them out for this. Meg is no victim. I saw her make fun of Sarah Palin’s speech when she endorsed Trump on her show with Brit Hume. I detest the snide Meg. I'm with Trump, bye bye Fox.
