FoxNews ^

Posted on 01/25/2016 12:30:14 AM PST by TigerClaws

In a last dash, final "hail mary" attempt to end a Donald Trump run for the White House once and for all, the National Review has decided to eviscerate the Republican front runner on the basis that he is not a conservative.

It will not work.

I realized a long time ago that Andrea was the best, most grounded, most prepared, most knowledgeable and most articulate conservative personage on all of Fox news.

She's the one who should be given her own show, not the witch Megyn or the hapless Gretchen.

She'd be great paired with Tucker Carlson, another intelligent and personable conservative who cuts right to the bone in his analysis and commentary...but it seems he's pushed to the side at the increasingly leftist Fox.

It would be a fruitless search to find anyone at Fox as strikingly conservative and well-spoken as these two contributors.

I don’t think it’s that hard Jim.

A Conservative believes in smallest possible govt, low taxation and maximum individual responsibility. Every political circumstance is measured against those values and we take the fork in the road that most delivers those outcomes.

The good man/ woman makes the good family makes the good neighbourhood, makes the good town, makes the good state, makes the good country.

It’s that simple.

“Yeah, why does Trump the Magnificent use eminent domain and bankruptcy to stick it to the rest of us?”

Without eminent domain you wouldn't have a highway to drive on or a plane to ride in...And you certainly won't have the Keystone pipeline...

If it's that simple why throw the word around like it really means something??? Are there conservative and liberal positions on illegal aliens, war and peace, fair and unfair trade??? And the myriad of other issues???

There will be sour grapers from this site that will vote for Bloomberg out of spite. I hope they hide their guns.

I scroll over responses that are more than a few sentences.

If you cannot form your thoughts in a few succinct sentences they are rambling and require restraint.

Trump people are slow thinkers so work on it.

Hi, Cal.

Your second sentence is contradicted by the articles at NR itself.

Your third sentence is simultaneously ad hominem and untrue AND irrelevant.

Bye for now.

“bullying” has been a liberal talking point for about 7 years now.

And now it’s “bullying” for a candidate to take a position and oppose the positions of his opponents

And then they’ll all get an “I participated” trophy....right?

Great read! Trump's appeal stretches far beyond disgruntled, outside the country club conservatives. His potential for crossover support, especially with blue collar and working class voters, is huge. Most establishment Republicans have never met a blue collar worker (unless they were fixing their Jacuzzi).

My wife has a great ability of picking out good women to be friends with and those to avoid. She agrees with you:

You asking the right questions and not getting any intelligent responses. Good Questions. Please keep asking them.

Please define true Conservativism.

What, exactly, do true Conservatives want to conserve?

“You ignore all the problems w/your candidate because, at the end of the day, you’re a lazy thinker. Or maybe not a thinker at all.”

I think we are all just tired of losing. The perfect is the enemy of the good.

Trump is VERY good, and not even competing against other “goods”, let alone “perfects”.

Trump 2016! Cruz can come to his inauguration party.

While we are beat up ad nuseum about Republicans needing to attract “other than white voters”, since their white base has nowhere else to turn (other than 3rd party or staying home), virtually nothing is being said about the Democrats themselves TOTALLY REJECTING the values of white voters, and thereby PUTTING THESE VOTERS UP FOR GRABS.

Exactly. It's as if Trump KNEW this as well. Gee who think that a strategic genius would have figured this out before he ran.

Although I had clients for many year with psychosis and other ailments I do not have the patience for it now.

If you are a health care provider, BUMQA probably should investigate you for patient abuse. You are a mentally ill abusive person.
