FoxNews ^

In a last dash, final "hail mary" attempt to end a Donald Trump run for the White House once and for all, the National Review has decided to eviscerate the Republican front runner on the basis that he is not a conservative.

It will not work.

Well, you morons, if you want to see Trump's heart and soul, look to his children. That more than anything is the measure of a man. And it is not an easy thing to bring up children. What's more, we know that Trump's admonishment to his children to not "smoke, drink, or do drugs" can be looked on as the words of someone who respects discipline. Also, Trump to my knowledge is the only candidate in recent memory to mention President Eisenhower! Are you saying that Ike wasn't considered "conservative"?

Thank you for that. Spot on.

This is your candidate. Vote as you please but I will not vote for Trump in any universe-—EVER!!

So everyone in the GOPe is more conservative than Trump...Globalism, One World Gov't, New World Order, One World Religion is good, eh??? Invasion by izlamic terrorists and illegal Mexicans who end up on welfare is good...That's the conservative position, eh??? Your conservitive politician Graham apologized to the terrorists for Trump...

Trump apparently has changed his position and ideas in many areas over the years, but your conservatives have not...Bush and Graham clearly support the terrorist invaders...Rubio wants wide open borders...Chris Christi loves gun control...

And then some of you Cruz supporters say you will vote for Bernie Sanders before you'll vote for Trump...And still call yourselves conservative...You have turned the term conservative into a dirty word...I don't want anything to do with your brand of conservatism...

Trump will do just fine without your vote...

I scroll over responses that are more than a few sentences.

If you cannot form your thoughts in a few succinct sentences they are rambling and require restraint.

Trump people are slow thinkers so work on it.

Wow! So witty.

But as always no substantive response to your candidate.

You cannot on Conservative principles support Trump. Go to Slate where you belong.

You’ve been here awhile and should know better.

You’re supposed to be a Conservative.

You ignore all the problems w/your candidate because, at the end of the day, you’re a lazy thinker. Or maybe not a thinker at all.

You just want the crass realityTV candidate. Let’s insult everyone and elect an a_ _ hole.

Enjoy that! Hope it works out for you. Our country is at stake but don’t you worry.

“And then some of you Cruz supporters say you will vote for Bernie Sanders before you’ll vote for Trump”

Glenn Beck said he supports Sanders over Trump. Doesn’t sound like a principled thoroughbred conservative to me.

http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/gop-primaries/266814-glenn-beck-cruz-sanders-over-trump

Trump talked about Glenn at the Pella rally. He said Glenn kept asking for an interview but it never happened. Then Glenn went negative on Trump. Trump thinks it was because Glenn thinks Trump deliberately did that. Trump says he didn’t deliberately not give Glenn an interview, he would have done an interview but it just never got set up.

You were probably some of the ones with disdain for DC Republicans who gave it up.

I feel the very same disdain for so-called Conservatives who have given it up for Trump. Seduced in the same way.

He has so many liberal positions you might as well vote Hillary. And some positions no one, not even Trump, Knows where he will land.

In the little town, when the snake oil guy comes around, all smooth talking and slick, you are the dude who will be his dupe. Fall for it and earn his disrespect. Trump is already showing you his disrespect. He said he could shoot someone and his voters would stay with him. He has no respect for you. That’s how bullies are.

You are his useful idiots.

I have no idea what that means.

I don’t support Trump and many others with brains do not.

Giuliani is not running.

You are his useful idiots.

That is not nice at all.

When the MSM attacked Trump, he went up in the polls and the MSM lost credibility. When you attack Trump, you lose credibility and guess what, since you support Cruz, he loses credibility too for having such a classless supporter and his other supporters move over to Trump. So you are getting paid by Trump to run this psyop project, is that right?

DT is not a conservative, do you think he is? He is the least conservative of the 12 still in the race

What are your precious "conservatives" conserving? Barack Obama is the President. American manufacturing is devastated. The Navy's ships are breaking down at sea. The "Trans-Pacific Partnership" is NAFTA on steroids. Unemployed workers' children are being destroyed by drugs and the nation is flooded by unassimilable immigrants.

Which "conservative" of yours has a plan to secure our borders and get our jobs back?

National Review, it's time for your Man in the Mirror moment. People are more concerned about the country they love, than they are your brand of "conservatism."

By trying to take out the most popular candidate in this race who has the best general election shot of any of them to win the White House and reverse the progressive policies of Barack Obama, Beltway, frat boy type elitists are proving my point: they don't get it.

Angela Tarantula nails it. Not too hard on the eyes.

Face The Nation Transcript

DICKERSON: What is your definition of conservative?

TRUMP: Well, I think it’s a person that doesn’t want to take overly risks. I think that’s a good thing.

I think it’s a person that wants to — in terms of government I’m talking about, a person that wants to conserve, a person that wants to, in a financial sense, balance budgets, a person that feels strongly about the military. And I feel very strongly about the military.

And you have some of these people, they don’t even want to focus on the military. Our military is falling apart. I feel very, very — and I have always felt very, very strongly about the military.

By the way, if you look at vision, when you look at the word vision, I was the one that said take the oil. I have been saying that for years. And I said take the oil, let’s take the oil. And nobody would listen. Then, all of a sudden, after Paris, they started saying, maybe that’s right, we will take the oil. They still don’t do it the proper way.

Trump might well win the Repub nomination, but he won’t win the presidency. No one who waffles as above on such an essential issue should ever make it to the White House.

If Trump is the nominee he will fail under media scrutiny and the Democrats will find it easy to portray him as a hollow pretender.

Bernie Sanders, who has a much more coherent political message, will win the Presidency. Supported by the Democrat establishment and stupid uneducated well indoctrinated Millennials who (wrongly) perceive Sanders as the honest broker.

If this prediction comes true I will be very saddened, but I’m not going to engage in false hope. I think the only thing now that will save the US is a SHTF event, sometime in the next couple of decades.

The electoral process is so weakened by corruption and deceit as to be useless in bringing any relief from the communist offensive.
