National Review, in its issue dedicated to taking down GOP front-runner Donald Trump, has made a big mistake.

Great article. Laura nails it as usual.
You are absolutely right. I am really floored at what is being posted on FR these days. If we continue to take our eyes off of the prize, Hillary will get elected. And then we are screwed.
There are rules here, are there not?
Plus, sheâs right about this. Itâs not like some in that bunch havenât been wrong before. NRO dumped Mark Steyn - that alone should show you that magazine has fallen way below its original standards. Not that I was ever much of a fan of it. No American Spectator, it.
Did the NR overestimate it’s power and influence? Yeah, I can see where that could happen.
Instead must personnaly attack Kelly and brings up Kellys body functions.
2nd is just bitter that Cruz is going down in flames.
good for Laura
She is just smart enough to realize advertising butters her bread and to piss the wrong people off she would lose her nice little radio show.
2nd Vet’s agenda has been transparent for over half a year. I now ignore his snide remarks.
I believe he is. February can’t get here soon enough.
Quite an agenda, getting the most conservative candidate since at least President Reagan elected to lead our nation. It’s a conspiracy, I tell you!
This is the best response I have yet read to the NR Excommunicato.
I hope those rules have been repealed or dissolved.
I agree and she takes BOR down to size on a regular basis which in and of itself is a reason to like her. :-)
She nail it...Trump supports do not see him as the political Messiah.... but NR take after him as if he’s the political anti-Messiah just strengthen him...
Trump politically is in the ballpark of a Rudy Giuliani Republican... and I can live with that if he hits the big three that she just listed in the article.... immigration.... support for American interest...and trade imbalance... in that way Trump is Pat Buchanan like without the stench of anti-semitism and isolationism...
And Cruz has one big weakness . the Canadian birth issue...
The dem already stated they attack him and file a lawsuit as payback for 8 years of Obama birthers...and in Cruz case..they got the birth certificate and yes he was born outside the country the general public will not care for some obscure parsing on the right about Cruz’ mother’s age vs Obama.....Cruz didn’t get in front of this early before he even declared (like McCain was smart enough to do in 2008 about being born in Panama) so now he’s bleeding from Trump just mentioning it....
Better now in the primaries exposing his vulnerabilities then if Cruz got the nomination.... that’s the point of the primary is partially to expose everybody’s weaknesses if they made it to the general
National Review started it’s progressive drift almost as soon as Buckly died. Now it’s going on the rocks.

I loved that. Itâs about time some of the political âmoderatorsâ get kicked in the butt. : ) Who the heck cares what Kelly thinks. Who is she to try and make or break our candidates? Sheâs a pretty face with a politically correct empty brain. She made a fool of herself.
She had no business but an agenda and she should have been shot down which she was. My point is this:
Trump could have expanded her attack and used it as an example to what is happening to conservatives by the MSM when he decided to bash her on CNN. But he does not think in terms of principles. He viewed it as a personal attack which of course it was. If he addressed that then in that fashion as I suggested or those other examples I list. We would not be where we are at now.
Instead he has gone ahead used Ethanol in Iowa which is supported by the quote establisment unquote and even ptoposed expanding its uselessness. Because he believes in and uses government mandated tax payer supported stuff in his business operations. Saddly I’ve come to the conclusion that he has comeout of the closet and flashed as to what and who he is .
Excellent article!
