The ad goes on to say that Trump bulldozed the home of an elderly widow in Atlantic City to build a limousine parking lot at his casino.
"Trump won't change the system. He's what's wrong with it," it says in the end.
Cruz tweeted his ad Friday morning saying "It's time we change the system and break the #WashingtonCartel -- together!"

However for months on end you praised him and was happy to not bring any of this up in debates, ads, or appearances. Nor did it affect you having a meeting with him last summer and declining to attack him on anything.

Well that’s an old tire to gnaw on...this was discussed and debated right at the first of Trumps campaign...he paid the lady for her home and she bought another one and had money left over...

Well, Trump was happy to praise Cruz, up until Cruz passed him up in the Iowa polling.

No, the point is that the ad distorts the facts and lies about the eventual outcome of the situation.
Trump became a billionaire as a trust fund kid bankrupting his companies (yes during tough economic times) to then come out from it a successful businessman. To that kudos he just didn’t become a loud mouth useless dolt trust funder.
However whatever happened to all those creditors holding the bag?

I don’t know if you cann it a WIN. Woman was originally offered $1 million for the property. She refused. Casino Commission took her to court. She ultimately settled by was only awarded $250K.
I’m betting Ted can’t prove that ridiculous claim.
Now Cruz is just embarassing himself.
Cruz is making a mistake with this line.
The point I took and actually got was the fact for one to even or ever in their life convey support for eminent domain is not a conservative. One of many non conservative big government liberal positions he has supported over the years.
