Donald Trump has admitted cutting off medical treatment to his nephewâs sick baby after he allegedly had his alcoholic brotherâs children cut out of his fatherâs will.
In an interview with the New York Times, Trump said he retaliated because he was âangry because they suedâ. His brother Freddy, a pilot, had died an alcoholic in 1981, aged 43.
He had two children â named after his parents Fred and Mary â with a stewardess he married at age 23 called Linda Clapp. The couple later divorced.
When the family patriarch Fred Sr., died in 1999, Freddyâs son, Fred III, spoke at the funeral. Later that night, his wife went into labor but the baby had cerebral palsy.
The Trump family promised to pay the medical bills. But when Fred Sr.âs will was read, it revealed that the majority of his inheritance would be split between his children â except Freddy Trump Jr.

With eggs....whaaaaalaaaah! Maybe minced liver and onions in scrambled eggs doesn’t sound too bad.
It’s actually Hah-vahd. I know I used to live in Cambridge.
Liver and eggs.....I can’t get my mind around that one.
Nah.
We’d need an Iron Chef to make that taste good.
Not exactly. In some states you cannot legally cut your spouse and/or your children out of the will.
Maybe with some shredded cheese and green peppers?
“Oh I appreciate your concern, however it’s not Trump supporters “running back and forth with their hair on fire”, it is the legions of Trump-haters who are engaging in their usual orgy of bared fangs, venomous taunts and (speaking of ‘hair on fire’) combustible rhetoric, all meaningless and a further manifestation of how Trump lives rent-free in their heads.”
I had some FReepiot call me a John Bircher for no other apparent reason than I was supporting Trump. The ant-Trumpers here are far more vitriolic than the supporters.
True. it's called an "elective share" - a spouse can elect to take some portion of the decedents estate (usually around one-third), in lieu of what is provided for them in the decedent's will. If I remember correctly, in New York, it applies only to one's spouse, though in other states it can apply to children as well.
That is true. And what confounds me, is that when I provided a link to where a Cruz supporter compared Trump to the male on male rapist in Deliverance, and his supporters to the violated person(s), all the person I was communication with could say was, “Yeah, both sides are pretty bad.”
Both sides? I’ve never seen any of that sort of things from the Trump supporters.
In addition I’ve been compared to the followers of Hitler, and told I couldn’t be a Christian or a Conservative.
The ability of some of those folks to think rationally is just non-existent.
The anti-Trumpers are much more mean-spirited than the pro-Trumpers. Facts very much in evidence. Let’s hope this is a passing phase. Otherwise, it will be hard on all of us.
I agree.
Look, we’re going to have to face it. Those folks will never accept Trump. Now matter how much good he does, they will trash him for anything they can possibly blow out of proportion to reality.
I expect there to be some down-side, but he’s also going to do some very good things that the others wouldn’t.
It will be well worth electing him.

Bottom line: they had health insurance and plenty of money to buy it.

At least he never tied a dog to the roof of his car.
“no wait that was Hillary.”
When did the Hildebeest practice criminal law?
Thank you for the information. Either that escaped my notice all these years, or senility has wiped out that memory.
