Obama: In Some Neighborhoods Itâs Cheaper and Easier For Kids To Get a Gun Than a Book Jenna Lifhits

In a CNN town tall special on Thursday, President Obama said that there are some neighborhoods in America where it is easier and cheaper for kids to purchase guns than books.
âPart of the reason, I think, that this ends up being such a difficult issue, is because people occupy different realities,â he said. âThere are a whole bunch of law-abiding citizens who have grown up hunting with their dad or going to the shooting range, and are responsible gun owners, and then there is the reality that there are neighborhoods around the country where it is easier for a 12 or 13-year-old to purchase a gun, and cheaper, than it is for them to get a book.â

So make the “neighborhoods” do background checks, too?

Obama is a progressive. Tell him that and he’ll think you’re supporting a new welfare program for free toilet paper.

Liberals, first they ban books then they complain that kids can’t read. Will banning guns make books cheaper?

What book would that be? War and Peace with 24K gold pages? Besides, in the Godless society the DemocRATS have created in this country, a gun is needed and would be a hell of a lot more useful than a book.

I know! I apologize to all buffoons and idiot!

That’s a ridiculous assertion — The fee for the background check would certainly cost more than many books would. :=)

My main concern today was if he was going to issue more Imperial Proclamations. Sounds like he didn’t.

This son of satan will lie just like his father does.
Nothing he says is ever true.
To: Sub-Driver
Right. The peeps in those neighborhoods are spending hundreds of dollars for a book and getting guns for pocket change? Is this guy off the teleprompter again?
Does he say crap like that because he's not smart enough to see the stupidity in the statement? Or because he's speaking to people he assumes are too stupid to see the crap in what he says?

I think it’s the same neighborhood where it’s just IMPOSSIBLE
to get an I.D. to present at the voting booth.
To: Sub-Driver
Ban all guns and those same kids will still be able to get a gun easier than a book.

Man, that ghetto loophole is a hell of a lot bigger than the gun show loophole. Has any of the liberals tried the books for guns buyback program?
