Cruz, Rubio Presidential Eligibility Challenged In FL, VT, and MD!
The Marshall Report ^ | January 7th, 2016 | Dianne Marshall

Posted on 01/07/2016 1:51:32 PM PST by Mariner

Well, so far complaints involving the ineligibility for Cruz, Rubio and Jindal to run for president have been filed in three states. Florida, Vermont, and MD. It appears all these people have to do is show proof of the eligibility requirements to run for president as stated in the constitution. So far none have, however Jindal has dropped out so it is moot for him. (Citizenship is not the same as the naturalization requirements for citizenship to run for President as stated in the constitution.)

For some odd reason, Cruz has had his birth records sealed. He’ll have to answer the reason why himself. Heaven forbid if we speculate on that one. It does appear very strange especially if he has nothing to hide? He did show his Canadian Birth Certificate and his paper denouncing his Canadian citizenship, but he has not shown any consulate papers. That must be what he has sealed. So if Cruz will just show proof of the proper papers there should be no problem. But, so far he has not and avoids the subject when asked.

Rubio, will be very difficult to prove as neither of his parents were citizens until five years after he was born.

Gee, will the cases be dismissed due to lack of standing?

Yes. Watch and see.

Thought you would enjoy this site. I had bookmarked it during Obama’s ascent and looked back today. Its quite pertinent especially at setting the cat truly within the pigeon coop.
http://www.art2superpac.com/issues.html

This is a small sample of the analysis:
...Hence, during the Founding, the original citizens created the new Constitutional Republic. Through Article II’s grandfather clause, they were allowed to be President. Their posterity would be the “natural born Citizens” who would perpetuate the new nation and its values. These “natural born Citizens,” born after the adoption of the Constitution, would be the future Presidents.

Subsequently, a “natural born Citizen” was created by someone first becoming a member of the United States (a U.S. citizen) by birth on its soil to a mother and father who were U.S. citizens or if not so born then through naturalization, and then joining with another similarly created U.S. citizen to procreate a child on U.S. soil. The product of that union would be an Article II “natural born Citizen.”

After the Fourteenth Amendment, it became sufficient to be a citizen if one were merely born on U.S. soil or naturalized and subject to the jurisdiction of the U.S. That U.S. citizen would then procreate with another similarly created U.S citizen and produce a “natural born Citizen.”

As we can see, becoming a U.S. citizen is only the first step in the process of creating a “natural born Citizen.” The second step is the two U.S citizens procreating a child on U.S. soil. It is these “natural born Citizens” who can someday be President or Vice President of the United States. Stated differently, a President must be a second generation American citizen by both U.S. citizen parents. A Senator or Representative can be a first generation American citizen by naturalization or birth. It is the extra generation carried by a President which assures the American people that he/she is born with attachment and allegiance only to the United States. Ya know something else about Mr. Trump, he was a card carrying RAT just 7 years ago...

Maybe that document should be released...?

How about his political donations? Whom did they go to for the previous 2 decades??

I find it amazing Mr. Trump can try and offer one of the greatest law minds alive and ACTIVELY working for the conservative movement legal advice regarding proving his own birth...

I had a military passport, he was just added to mine. My husband was a military officer, I don’t know what if anything he had to do/send to the State Department but my guess is, only copy of German birth certificate, copy of his ID and mine along with my passport.

I don’t have a clue where my passport is although it’s here somewhere but if I recall, they just added “and infant son”.

"Go back through the post histories of the people condemning him the loudest and you will find that almost to the man/woman, they were big ‘Go Ted Go’ types."

I get the hypocrisy angle and agree with it.

They should have paid attention to your admonitions then, to avoid their uncomfortable position now.

Dumb bastards:)

Well, that’s true.

I don’t believe I’ve ever condemned him as evil but he has never been a consideration for me as a candidate.

Well...yea. I mean I am awesome afterall ;)

Actually the solution is simple. Stick to the facts. All of them. You and I discussed this at length some time back IIRC and pretty much agreed on it then. I’m nor afraid of Cruz’s record. He has made mistakes. He has also done a lot of things right. Trump has good points and has made mistakes as well. There’s a lot he says I totally support.

But many people don’t want conservative. They want what they want when they want it. Be it Cruz, Trump, Gincrich or Bill Clinton. And they don’t want to discuss actual facts.

Which is fine. You should support whoever you believe in 100% regardless of who approves or agrees. We all should. But there are those calling him evil and flatly making crap up. They refuse to stop and no one with authority will stop them. So ‘my’ side fights back in kind. Because it’s all we can do other than allow pure crap to spread.

And that goes both ways.

"But many people don’t want conservative"

Conservative = The Rule of Law, first.

And the rule of law originates in the US Constitution, based on Natural Law.

If we collectively desire and work toward that, we are allies.

The only people who have standing are the Secretary of state of the individual states or one of the other GOP candidates.

The problem is we can’t even settle that much. Personally I am of the 2 parents born in America school that millions were taught for 200 years. But since Obama, that no longer applies.

Do we suddenly tie our hands and give the dems a major win? If we enforce it do we then erase Obama from history? Because if we split that baby and send it to Stericycle for Mitt to BBQ, the law is even more meaningless than it is now. So with that said, I’m going, unfortunately with the current interp of law.

Whenever the f’ someone actually decides once and for all what it is.

[ But as Congress has recognized since the Founding, a person born abroad to a U.S. citizen parent is generally a U.S. citizen from birth with no need for naturalization. And the phrase “natural born Citizen” in the Constitution encompasses all such citizens from birth. Thus, an individual born to a U.S. citizen parent — whether in California or Canada or the Canal Zone — is a U.S. citizen from birth and is fully eligible to serve as President if the people so choose. ]

Anyone who is a citizen who didn’t have to go through the naturalization process but was born into it via a parent is a “Natural Born Citizen”

Anyone who had to go though the Naturalization process via immigration may be a citizen but there are some offices they can never hold.

Actually, in that scenario I believe the VP elect would immediately be sworn in as president.

[ The danger as I see it:

Cruz gets elected. Then some Liberal group decides to challenge his “natural born” status. They judge shop and find some liberal wacko Federal jurist who agrees. He issues an injunction preventing Cruz from being sworn in while the courts consider the matter.

A Constitutional crisis ensues. Obama remains in office indefinitely as the Federal courts play football with this. ]

I fear this too, and I place the blame on the chickenshit RINOs who never challenged Obama’s whole birth issue for basically laying over taking it and not challenging it.

According to the 1940 immigration law Obama is not a natural Born Citizen since his mommy was too young to convey citizenship to little Barry. Kenya doesn’t even play into it. (and I think was a red herring anyways).

But you can imagine the Dems and the backstabbing RINO scum would be more than willing to bring this up should Cruz either get the nomination or should he win.
