Cruz, Rubio Presidential Eligibility Challenged In FL, VT, and MD!
The Marshall Report ^ | January 7th, 2016 | Dianne Marshall

Posted on 01/07/2016 1:51:32 PM PST by Mariner

Well, so far complaints involving the ineligibility for Cruz, Rubio and Jindal to run for president have been filed in three states. Florida, Vermont, and MD. It appears all these people have to do is show proof of the eligibility requirements to run for president as stated in the constitution. So far none have, however Jindal has dropped out so it is moot for him. (Citizenship is not the same as the naturalization requirements for citizenship to run for President as stated in the constitution.)

For some odd reason, Cruz has had his birth records sealed. He’ll have to answer the reason why himself. Heaven forbid if we speculate on that one. It does appear very strange especially if he has nothing to hide? He did show his Canadian Birth Certificate and his paper denouncing his Canadian citizenship, but he has not shown any consulate papers. That must be what he has sealed. So if Cruz will just show proof of the proper papers there should be no problem. But, so far he has not and avoids the subject when asked.

Rubio, will be very difficult to prove as neither of his parents were citizens until five years after he was born.

I would. Yes it’s a problem and looks fishy whether it actually is or not. But thats a better option than giving liberals access to anything as they will twist what they find or make up whatever they want anyway. So might as well make them pay for it.

"This is shaping up to be an epic mess"

I have never once hidden my support for Trump, since before his announcement in June.

However, regardless of who the messenger is, Cruz will have to clear this up.

And, he was negligent in not doing so before he even announced. Only HE could have prevented the bruhaha.

And I'll watch it with calling guys around here "girls". I’m ready to ask the site owners to start waving the banhammer if some of you Cruz people can't lay off the name-calling.

Call we just tell you that you need to "get Jesus in your life" instead?

He tried. I have been carefully watching his moves in regards to making this go away. It's just not that simple of a thing to make it go away.

"Cruz probably NBC, Rubio, probably not. LOL"

there's a legitimate legal argument that says the opposite is true.

So, you can bet the farm that will be exploited to Cruz's detriment. Even if he ultimately prevails, as is LIKELY.

I THINK he gambled that the dems wouldn’t tough it because of Obama. But we all know that history begins when a lib wakes up and they don’t care anyway.

What I don’t think he realized is how ‘fickle’ to put it kindly, that so called conservatives are in this era. The Palin thing should have galvanised that most cannot and should not be trusted to have his back. And we see daily on FR just howe many are willing to post anything that can possibly hurt his campaign, no matter where it comes from or who wrote it,

Thats here on the supposedly furthest right and most conservative of all sites. And ‘we’ turned on him at the drop of a Trump hat.

Should be.

No one has been injured in such a way that a court can remedy.

The Birthers of both parties are either unable or unwilling to read black letter law.

The reason NBC is at issue with with BHO is that under the law his mother could not provide NBC by her self.
“IMMIGRATION AND NATIONALITY ACT OF 1952
Sec 301.
(7) a person born outside the geographical limits of the United States and its
outlying possessions of parents one of whom is an alien, and the other a citizen of
the United States, who prior to the birth of such person, was physically present in
the United States or its outlying possessions for a period or periods totalling not
less than ten years, at least five of which were after attaining the age of fourteen
years.

Thus S.A.Dunham born November 29, 1942 in Kansas a could pass on citizenship IF she had lived in USA or its possessions for 10 years And 5 must be after the age of 14.

She gave Birth to BHO on Aug 4 1961 this Making her 18 years, 8 months, 6 days which is means she did not meet 5 years after age 14 before BHO birth. So have as the law states
• “Section 301. (a) The following shall be nationals and citizens of the United States
at birth:
He had to be born in the USA.

Cruz on the other hand had no such impediment as the Law still stated them same requirements and his mother born in DE. and was well over 19 and well over 10 years of residence in the USA as a citizen. (4 in Texas as a student at Rice)

I think he gambled that because he is a conservative, conservatives would rally behind him without question. Conservative does not mean stupid. It is not being “fickle” to expect him to be a natural born citizen.

We have no proof that Cruz’s mother was born here in the US. No one can find a birth certificate for her in Delaware. This is strange, and the fact that he hasn’t provided proof is even more disturbing. I think she was born in Canada, and met his dad there. There’s no way she lived in DE and met his dad, who lived in TX and they moved to Canada together. This was boefore the era of the internet. Nope, I think she as a born Canadian. Can anyone prove different?

"Thats here on the supposedly furthest right and most conservative of all sites. And ‘we’ turned on him at the drop of a Trump hat"

Come on Norm, you know that's not a fair and reasonable assessment.

Even you have said Stevie Wonder could have seen this coming a mile away.

Demanding a Candidate prove their eligibility, even under the weakest of suspicion or question, has been a hallmark of this site, and conservatives in general for nearly 10 years.

Cruz has come under question, not by Trump but many on this site and elsewhere in media.

Even two sitting US Senators and a Supreme Court Justice have indicated there's a question to be answered.

Let's get that question answered this week, as it's in Cruz's power to do, and get on with the fight over issues and leadership.

What do you mean by having your son "put on your passport"?

My daughter was born in Japan and had to get her own passport. I also had to take in the Japanese hospital birth certificate, our marriage certificate and Mom & Dad's passport to prove we were U.S. citizens.

She got her passport the same day, but I had to wait a month or so to get her U.S. Consular birth certificate. After paying all the proper fees of course.

I asked them what would've happened if I had just knocked up my wife out of wedlock. They told me in that case, her passport and the marriage certificate wouldn't be necessary. So it is actually less work to get a child a U.S. birth certificate and passport with only one American parent. Weird!

"Can anyone prove different?"

Ultimately, that is the essential question.

Where is the paper trail?
