Ted Cruz says he won't use former President Bill Clinton's political liabilities against Democratic presidential contender and former First Lady Hillary Clinton.
"I am not interested in getting into personal attacks and innuendo," he said Tuesday at a news conference in Cisco. "Hillary Clinton’s biggest liability is that her policies are a disaster."
New York businessman Donald Trump, the frontrunner in the Republican race for president, has used Twitter to black Bill Clinton as abusive to women.
"If Hillary thinks she can unleash her husband, with his terrible record of women abuse, while playing the women’s card on me, she’s wrong! Mr. Trump said Monday via Twitter.
Cruz says he won't engage in such attacks.
Instead, he outlined how he would contrast himself with Clinton, should he get the Republican nomination for president.
"Because of the Obama/Clinton economic policies, millions of Americans are hurting," he said. “We have the lowest percentage of Americans working since 1977."
He added that "the Obama/Clinton foreign policy is terrible because of the strengthening of Iran and the rise of the Islamic State.
"That is a record that is substantially indefensible," he said.

He sounds absolutely NOTHING like McCain did in 2008. Taking the “high road” is not the same as unilateral surrender. Cruz is a fighter and we will see that repeatedly. He’s got plenty of ammunition and he’ll aim his shots at the right targets...and it will be effective.

Hillary’s supporters think with their crotch. If her supporters find out that she’s an enabler of sexual assault, they will stay home on election day. If her supporters come to realize that ‘wonderful’ Bill is a sleazeball, they’ll stay home.
Hillary has NO charisma. She will depend on Bill Clinton for the charisma. If Bill Clinton is forced to stay out of the spotlight, she - will - fail.

I was listening to Cruz’s campaign manager. He seemed to indicate that they had no reason to attack Bill Clinton at this time, but on the other hand, if Clinton involves himself in the campaign by attacking the GOP candidates, then Clinton’s record becomes fair game.
Cruz must know Bill Clinton is not Trump’s real target. It’s Hitery Clinton for going after any and all victims of her husband. Putting private investigators on them and the best lawyers to smear and threaten them if they didn’t back off her sexual predator husband. It’s about her character. She has none. This entire nonsense about her standing up for abused women is all a ruse. The only womn she cares about is herself. If Cruz can’t figure that out he’s not as smart as I thought he was. He’ll also rake her over the coals for taking millions of dollars in bribes as Sec of Defense from Middle Eastern countries that cut women’s heads off if they get out of line with their husband.

Never met one republican in my life that voted for Bill Clinton. Never.
And hillary has been trying to get back into the Oval Office ever since. It’s important to go back on this because she will bring all that back into the White House. If you go back to what all she did, that’s who she is today. Bill included.. he has not changed.. he thinks he’s still the stud. She enabled and tried to take out the women who came forward. She was hell bent on being the President.. and all she was has to be brought out because she is not a champion on women’s rights.. she is a champion of “hillary’s rights”.
I know most won’t read all that she did.. but everyone should. Ya’ can’t read it all and think she can ever be the President of the United States. Bill was IMPEACHED... that is not a little thing in the field of our government. He testified .. his face was on camera... saying he did not have sexual relations with that woman.. That may be insignificant to younger voters.. but not to us older voters.. The President of the United States, what he did in the Oval Office, denigrated that office ...whereas President Reagan always wore a suit/jacket in that office... the clintons had such disrespect for where they were and who they represented.
The clintons are not fit to be considered for that office again .. and yes, we have to go back to what they did.
