If you are white, and you are reading this letter, I ask that you don't run to seek shelter from your own racism. Don't hide from your responsibility. Rather, begin, right now, to practice being vulnerable. Being neither a "good" white person nor a liberal white person will get you off the proverbial hook. I consider myself to be a decent human being. Yet, I'm sexist. Take another deep breath. I ask that you try to be "un-sutured." If that term brings to mind a state of pain, open flesh, it is meant to do so. After all, it is painful to let go of your "white innocence," to use this letter as a mirror, one that refuses to show you what you want to see, one that demands that you look at the lies that you tell yourself so that you don't feel the weight of responsibility for those who live under the yoke of whiteness, your whiteness.
I can see your anger. I can see that this letter is being misunderstood. This letter is not asking you to feel bad about yourself, to wallow in guilt. That is too easy. I'm asking for you to tarry, to linger, with the ways in which you perpetuate a racist society, the ways in which you are racist. I'm now daring you to face a racist history which, paraphrasing Baldwin, has placed you where you are and that has formed your own racism. Again, in the spirit of Baldwin, I am asking you to enter into battle with your white self. I'm asking that you open yourself up; to speak to, to admit to, the racist poison that is inside of you.

The only people perpetrating racism today, aside from a few crack pots here and there are blacks and their so called ‘leaders.’ I have been called racist every day since Obama came on the stage. Now, with BLM and other nonsense, it’s twice a day.
Fine. I’m incurably racist. Holder and Obama says it is in my DNA to be racist. Leave me be. Leave US be. And by US I mean all the other people who achieve success from all over the world in this nation. Japanese, Chinese, Indians, Africans are all doing fine with our racist DNA and don’t need the likes of George Yancy to certify us “racist free” through years of self flagellation.

Academia's last foray into advanced racial theory and despised populations did not end happily for its adherents, but after the defeat of Nazi Germany and their subsequent universal shunning enough time has elapsed to grow another crop, apparently. Only thing is, this time the targets are armed.

Meanwhile, in the nearby city of Pittsburgh (40 Miles SE of here) there are certain neighborhoods where pizza delivery drivers will not even go due to crime and non-white racism.

The party of Obama, Clinton, Reid, and Pelosi is the plantation party. What have blacks gotten for their votes. They’ve been brainwashed with all the “Great Society” handouts that will never raise them out of poverty like a job can. Obama is hell bent on destroying as many jobs as he can with his war on energy and his onerous regulations. The Democrats want everyone to experience poverty. Been there done that, got a better job, worked my ass off, saved and retired. This guy needs to experience the society he loves to write about - like the one his buddy Obama is creating.
A black person can think, utter, and act on the most evil, vile racist ideas against white people, but that is irrelevant, because blacks can't prosper due to white men controlling all aspects of the world.
But, a white person is racist regardless of whether they think, utter, or act out any pronounced racism, even if they outwardly help black people, because that help is designed to promote the black person in the white man's world.
So, racism is racist, apathy is racist, and assistance is racist, until it's a black world -- got it.
Sure, if you don't count the beatings and families getting broken up and sold down river.
The NYT puts out stuff like this as provocation, probably intended to get knee-jerk attack responses that it can use against people who disagree with their views.
