GOP candidates debate for first time since terror attacks.

Don’t hold your breath on lower taxes. Military needs to be built up if we are going to “kick ass”, 2,000 mile wall needs to be built with servicing roads, buildings, surveillance gear, vehicles, cost of screening people coming into US, and unfortunately committed debt—VA, Social Security, national debt, etc. Not much is really spent on other things that can be cut. Here is an explanation of how our 2015 budget was allocated. It goes into more detail than can a pie chart.

Trump isn't a "liberal", nor is he a BIG GOVERNMENT shill.
Go get a knife and slice off your nose now, because hopefully, we WILL have Trump as the GOP nominee.
Cruz and Trump set everyone up. It was their act to get more people watching. Rush and Levine swallowed the hook up to the weight.
Let’s face it, Jeb peaked as Governor of Florida.
Cruz and Trump are still looking skyward while Jeb is on the Down Escalator looking over his shoulder.
You have NO idea what you’re spouting.
That’s just wishful thinking.
Fine...then go cry in your beer. LOL
We’ll see.
I think it’s a matter of timing and positioning. It all depends on how things play out in Jan/Feb.
Yes, we shall and you won’t be at all please/happy about it.
Could be that Rush and Mark were in on the set up to help drum up even more interest. /tinfoil :)
I’m not sure why people keep jumping the gun and asking general election questions in a primary season. Let’s see how the primary plays out and then we can discuss what we’d do in the general. But to answer your question, if it comes to that, I’d probably choke down my serious reservations regarding Trump and hope for the best.
Not much is really spent on other things that can be cut.
It will take a lot of work, but at least each area should be looked at.
It will take years, but if we get a booming private economy going with lower corporate rates, business mind set, decreased regulations, etc, they may actually have a surplus and will be able to cut taxes. We'll see.
No one knows what will happen yet so there’s no need to be unnecessarily antagonistic about it yet.
Look, it's most probably going to be down to Trump and Cruz, in the end.
Cruz is NOT attracting blacks, he'll never get the disaffected DEMs, and I'm not all that certain that he's attracting as many women as Trump is, but that could change. Veterans? Trump gets them. The Hispanic vote is probably divided amongst them.
No way, NO WAY AT ALL, does Cruz get the North East and Pa.; Trump just may...at least he makes them a fight.
Do you watch Trump's rallies? I BET YOU DON'T. :-) It's all a matter of nosed counting, based on many different things.
Are you a glass 1/2 full type, or a glass 1/2 empty type?
Rush is trashing Trump because the Bushes want him to....Levin wanted in on the attention train....how sad they will be. Hope Kraut, Hume, Bernie and Me-Gyn thank them profusely.
National numbers are great at taking the temperature of the mood of the country but it doesn't mean a thing if that enthusiasm doesn't translate to GOTV efforts. So let's see what happens in the early states. I think that will help really tell the tale one way or the other.
Either way I'm pleased that Jeb, aka Mr. Inevitable as turned out to be pretty evitable after all. ð (see? Sarcasm at work there)
Didn’t see the debate, but to some degree it depends on how you define superior. Many years ago just before I got married (44 years until he died of Alzheimers), I read a book called, “The Natural Superiority of Women.” This book took the position that because women have about 2% more genetic material than men (the X chromosome is much larger than the male Y), it gives them a number of advantages. Nature fertilizes more eggs male because the males start dying off even before they are born, and have a higher death rate at every age.
I forget the details of the book, but it made me reflect on my mothers hostile attitude toward my father. It was basically, “if he thinks he is so great, why doesn’t he act better.” I decided that if we women were better, then we should take good care of our men and help them live longer and happier.
There is just NO WAY that Cruz can get areas that a GOP nominee needs to win, to win the election AND I doubt that he can best Hillary. Oh hell, I know he can't. She doesn't really "debate", so please don't tell me what a "great debater" Ted is. Okay ?
Okay. Take care now.
You too. :-)
