Somehow I managed to watch this without getting seriously ill. Hopefully it’s not a delayed reaction.
How I hate these non-debates with the Left running the Right’s show.
Trump doesn’t seem to mind, but I think many people hate this. Trump’s not into debating, but it would be a lot more useful if the format were different and run by the right people.

Trump/Cruz are the two best candidates for improving our nation's defensive capabilities. Trump is known for firing those who don't produce. So, I'm not too worried if he is currently weak in knowledge of how our defense works.
We must also fix our economy that we may have the resources necessary to restore our military might. Otherwise, we have to either print or borrow, and that in itself makes us weak - NOT strong. We must stop the killing of our young in the womb and the promotion of immorality - if we can't reverse this, everything else we prove to be futile.
Either Carson, Cruz, or Trump (alphabetical order here) are out best candidates to accomplish these multiple goals - and do so in a timely manner, IMO.

Theo, TRUMP is winning because he is not in the policy weeds that the Left/GOP would like to use as a prop for an establishment candidate.
No one is voting for policy weeds. They are running out of our ears.
We are voting for a LEADER. TRUMP is street smart as well as instinctive. He can hire excellent wonks to do that crap.

Cruz needs to point out that while the path to CITIZENSHIP Rubio is selling is a somewhat long one, he is pushing for an easy and almost instant path to PERMANENT RESIDENCY, which is about 90% as good as citizenship.
Also, Marco says they should pay a fine and START PAYING TAXES.
No American citizen (except Democrat cronies) can evade taxes for 5, 10 or 20 years and then start paying and have their back taxes forgiven.
I don’t support any path to legal status for any illegal, but before we even consider giving any sort of status to illegals they should be required to pay every dime in back Federal, Local and State taxes, plus interest and penalties.

Don’t know if you noticed, but when Rubio got that stupid triad question from Hewitt, he spoke for a bit, then looked down at his notes, then spoke some more. I believe he knew the question in advance.
