The top officer of the Marine Corps sent an unequivocal message to troops: It's time to get behind the mandate to integrate women into combat units.
Gen. Robert Neller released a sternly worded video late Friday, a day after Defense Secretary Ashton Carter announced that all military jobs -- including infantry and special forces positions -- would be open to female troops by the start of next year.
The Marine Corps was the only service to request that some fields remain closed to women, citing a yearlong co-ed infantry experiment that found gender-mixed units underperformed all-male ones.
Despite that, Neller made clear that the Marines were going to lose no time in conforming to the new mandate.

I’ve posted on other threads that my company is dealing with an unintended consequence of promoting unqualified females (to keep lawyers at bay) by having us men (who were bearing the brunt of long unpaid extra hours as “salaried employees”) work the same hours the salaried females work (the bare minimum). They are powerless to do anything without serious legal issues. While I have a wife and female relatives, and no issue with women in the workplace in general, the double standard is absurd and the “glass ceiling” and gender wage gap are fabrications. In fact, there are issues within the female workforce itself; childless white women resent the flexibility offered to black & Hispanic mothers, so they simply avail themselves of it for other reasons. Why wouldn’t we guys do the same? I’ve been “working like a girl” for a few years now, and after the hours I’d worked in the past it is like working a part-time job.

I am sickened by the Commandant of the Marine Corps, these so-called commandant, who suck up to Obama, who bend over for his every illegal in an order or commands. Yes yes I know he is supposed to be their commander in chief, but have these men no real honor any longer? Push back for god sake !or resign your position, like Jim Conway did. I am using a phone you piece of trash. It has auto correct. Obviously you are 80 and probably are confused as to what that is.
Even in the USAF being in a unit with women meant that we men would have to pull double duty. Every time a woman had her period or got a headache they’d be at sick call. It got bad and so many of us made it a point to make sure we didn’t get saddled with a female for duty. I am not much of a fan of women mixed with men in the service and am opposed to women being anywhere near a combat zone.

I fell for the same stereotype of dumb jarhead until I worked in a bar that catered to Marines. I found them to be all above average in sharpness and smarts, just ... a little rough around the edges.
Not just any ol' body gets into the Marines.
See # 23; I increased my hourly wage nicely by eliminating what had regularly been at least an extra day’s worth of work each week.
It’s deliberate sabotage of our military. These Marines need to do their duty and refuse.
