NEW YORK -- Two presidential campaigns ago, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin became a conservative superstar. Seven years later, the self-proclaimed "Mamma Grizzly" is calling 2015 one of the toughest years of her life.
"Some things happened that I haven't talked about publicly, things like getting canned from a job I really liked, sort of out of the blue, because I called somebody out," she said.
Palin was let go from her job as a Fox News political analyst in June.
"Next morning I got word, 'Oh, we no longer need you anymore,'" she recalled. "Yeah, it was a shock, but more power to Fox News."
"They're a private enterprise," she continued. "They can fire someone for wearing the wrong color tie that day - that's their prerogative and I've been on both sides of the hiring and firing."
"They (Fox) still interview you?" CBN News' Wendy Griffith asked the former governor.
"Heck, yeah. I have a great relationship with them," she replied. "It was just kind of a little bit of a shocker of knowing that the 'haters' are going to love this one."
Then, the tabloids went into overdrive when the long-awaited marriage of her 25-year-old daughter Bristol didn't happen, even though she's pregnant with her ex-fiancé's baby.
The cancelled engagement was then followed by a cancer scare.
"Bristol said, 'Mom, you need to go into the doctor and get that thing checked," Palin recalled. "She insisted and I resisted so I finally went in to a doctor and got something checked, came back, biopsy - a cancer."
"Melanoma?" Griffith asked.
"Yeah, something like that," Palin said. "Anyway, a surgeon dug it out and everything was okay."

I’m sure she realized that after thing started going south that she was getting a full can of the hard knocks of life.
Once you graduate from the school of hard knocks you become a very educated individual in the story of real life.
Graduating does not come with a degree but it comes with something even more important...experience in life!
Now, with that in mind I’m sure that Sarah has the tempered steel to forge an even more successful challenge in the saving of our American culture and lifestyle.

And who would be Vice President? I figured Trump would pick Cruz for VP..and yes, the best part other than seeing three of my favorite people in the White House would be seeing liberals commit mass suicide it would be win/win :-)

Mine looked like someone drew a cartoon of a mole on my leg. Way too festive looking. I watched it for 20 months like a moron until I couldn't ignore that it was getting larger. It was the type called superficial spreading. It hadn't gone too deep. Removed 8 years ago with no recurrence. I say that crossing my fingers and without smugness.

Can’t say for sure but if I were her and her family; I would start spending more Winter time in AZ as the years go by.
I do remember her buying a property in the Phoenix area so maybe they are splitting time between the two states.
She definitely fits in here in AZ. Other than a couple places like Tuscon and Flagstaff; most of the state is conservative.

I’m wondering if Trump has plans for her. Secretary of Energy or something. Drill Baby, Drill.
It would be great but I doubt the Senate would confirm her. The Dems would filibuster for sure. I just wonder if she would be able to get confirmed at the end.
