You are obviously wrong, from watching live Trumo rallies I know the type of man Donald Trump is. There is no way he would ever lie about something like that - he is the most honest politician we have had run for office in the history of the United States. Whatever Donald says I will give him the benefit of the doubt because he is almost always 100% correct. </sarc>

If it is not true, then why didn’t Trump or his campaign refute the story from the beginning? BTW, I went from thinking Trump was a joke when he announced, to being quite impressed with him, so I am not asking that question as a Trump distractor.

Whether Trump gets it or not, it is completely implausible that so many churches and pastors would explicitly endorse candidates for public office, particularly so early in the process.
I, however, think that this is the government controlled media up to their old tricks again, making something out of something that really isn't any of their business....this is between Trump and the Pastors...if after the Pastors finish their conversation and/or prayers with Trump, if they want to say they will endorse Trump, that's their business, but for the government controlled lying media insane idiots to pose something before it has even happened is putting their nose in where it does not belong, and maybe it's time to start cutting those ‘noses’ off.....
The Trump campaign better have an unequivocal endorsement from every name on the list he finally publishes after the meeting with the pastors scheduled next week. You can be sure every last one of the pastors on the list will be contacted personally by conservative and liberal media and congregation members to verify every endorsement.

No doubt they have recieved a fax/call from the White House. (the pastors)
But, at the very least, Donald Trump is stealing a page out of the Democrat Parties and the Progressive Left’s playbook by making a highly publicized and totally self serving public statement that most of the Democrats ignorant and uninformed Urban Black power base will hear and start thinking about.
At the end of the day, it starts the conversation in the black community about who best serves their interests,.
Trump can't do worse for the Black Community than Democrats have done these last 7 years so the Black Community will support Trump more after the announcement than before.
Trump just has to be driving both the Republicans and Democrats parties crazy and scaring the heck out of them.
I have serious reservations about just what kind of President Trump is going to be if he wins and becomes President. Trump is the only Presidential candidate in my life time other than the late, great Ronald Reagan who can attract serious, dyed in the wool Democrats to cross the aisles and vote for a Republican.
Even if Black voters won't cross over and vote for Trump, they don't hate him enough to show up in large enough numbers to vote against him, and, for now at least, the Democrats and their media propaganda machine has been totally unable to demonize Trump like they have other Republicans.
