Youssif Zaghwani Omar, an assistant professor at the University of Missouri, was arrested on suspicion of child abuse this past week for “allegedly grabbing a 14-year-old female relative by the hair and dragging her into a car after he noticed she wasn’t wearing a hijab.â€
Omar was at a local high school when he saw the girl without the Muslim headscarf.
The Daily Mail reports:
Officer Latisha Stroer told the Columbia Tribune in an email that Omar grabbed the girl ‘very violently by the hair’.
He then allegedly slapped her across the face, and pulled her by the hair down and flight of stairs and into his car.
The progressive academics at Missouri are probably worried about how to “properly†respond: “Will we appear sexist … or Islamophobic?â€

He made bail. Will he now go back and kill the girl in a Muslim honor killing?
I think “no hijab” is a cover story for attempted abduction/rape.

That girl is in danger. The family may arrange a marriage for her in Libya and send her there if she is lucky.
Shouldn’t that be considered part of the “war on women”?
Obviously not, since “feminists” never say anything about actual violence against women as long as it is perpetrated by an “oppressed” group, i.e., blacks, Muslims, mostly. They wouldn’t want to upset their allies in the struggle against “da man.”

IIRC, this was in Upstate New York.
I bet he doesn’t get one day because we have to be sensitive to their culture.
