Dilbert creator Scott Adams said Friday afternoon that if Donald Trump survives the ongoing controversy about whether he made fun of New York Times reporter's disability, he will be a lock to win the presidency.
"If he survives this one, he's invulnerable," Adams said.
Adams took to Periscope on Friday afternoon to promote his new book, How to Fail at Almost Everything and Still Win Big: Kind of the Story of My Life, and answered questions from fans.
Recently, Adams has written about his conviction that Donald Trump will win the presidency, based on his use of sophisticated techniques of public persuasion. Adams told Reason magazine that Trump uses perceived insults to beat back opponents:
"What I [see] in Trump," says Adams, is "someone who was highly trained. A lot of the things that the media were reporting as sort of random insults and bluster and just Trump being Trump, looked to me like a lot of deep technique that I recognized from the fields of hypnosis and persuasion."

Yep. What the Elites fail to see is that Trump could light a NYT reporter on fire and we would still cheer. They are our enemy because they declared us to be their enemy several years ago. Like 1941 America, we are slow to get moving, but once we are mobilized, we are brutal and efficient and unstoppable.
I don’t recall the media asking if Obama would survive his “I bowl like a retard” comment, because they knew they had his back.
Trump already survived it and has survived a lot worse. Not even a blip on the radar.
I never bought into the line that Trump knew this reporter, had ever met him, or knew of his handicap.
It is so unprovable in the first place, and Trump has raised such an appropriate degree of stink over it, against the media claim to the contrary, that Trump called for an apology.
So, yes, Trump dodges another bullet. One has to CHOOSE to believe the media to buy into their version.

It can’t be that what he’s saying makes sense, that his human-ness is acceptable because he speaks the truth. It has to be that he’s hypnotizing all but the most resilient of Leftists.
I realize that the guy has a problem...but I don't understand why his picture was taken to highlight his problem. I would guess many others were scrubbed that didn't highlight his disability.
And do we know when that picture was taken?
