>>That may be. But He never ever plays by the devil’s rules.

True. One of the Devil’s rules is that God has to choose the obvious nice guy to do His work. God usually chooses the guy that the Devil thinks works for for him.

Well, I have a somewhat similar plan. If Ted Cruz isn’t on the ticket, I’m writing in... Ted freekin Cruz. I’m done settling, if my party is dead, I sure as hell ain’t votin’ for the other one.

Likely that Cheri is one of those who intends to be a part of history and vote for the first female president.

Truth be told, she also voted for history in 2008.

I get it. Trump must pledge to support the GOPe nominee if they win, but they don’t have to support him if he wins.

Nice double-standard ya got there, bleach-Blondie.

““You can’t tell until the tide goes out
who has been swimming naked.””

And we can thank Trump (and to a lesser extent Cruz) for “draining the GOPe swamp” so we can see who’s “naked.” The GOPe has been swimming around in the “Congressional Swamp” for fifty years. By now their, willies are all shriveled up and unusable.

There’s good news though, you aren’t going to have to!”

Not vote for The Donald but go ahead and vote for THE BEAST.

That makes a lot of sense.

For me, that feeling started with Dole.

If that is the case then what difference does it make, can Trump be any worse than what we have had? Or maybe, just maybe he might surprise everyone.

. But I am willing to vote for Trump if he is the nominee- not because he is a conservative, but because it is striking a blow against people like Ms. Jacobus who as much enemies as the Democrats.

Yep, me too. I have many problems with Trump, but I have actually said for years that he is brilliant against political correctness - and a double whammy against PC and the GOP E - and securing the border - is more than enough to get me to vote for him over any Democrat - who will be none of those things or do none of those things. I still get a bit nauseous at some of his support though.....

There are a bunch of hypocrites posting on this thread. How many on this forum brag about going 3rd party because Romney/McCain/Dole/Etc weren't good enough. How many are now threatening to not vote or vote 3rd party if (fill in the blank) doesn't get the nomination? We don't set up threads to slam them.

The fact of the matter is that Cheri Jacobus is a nobody who did this post in order to get noticed. Everyone with any sign of life in their brain needs to vote for whatever Republican the process selects, because I can't see anyone who won't do a better job than Hillary/Sanders/O'Malley - at least they would do less harm. And that includes Pataki or Gillmore or (fill in the blank).

We each need to back the one we like the best, then come together to stop more serious damage to this Republic.
