I used a couple of “Bah Humbugs” yesterday
I’ll tell you....kitchen help is always welcome at Thanksgiving! Especially dish washers! LOL! My mom always ended up with that job and fussed about it every time! :)
Frazzled? I don’t see that with you! Don’t you usually do a lot of the cooking around there anyway? :)

My 91 year old mom is hosting. Going over there tomorrow afternoon to clean and set the table. We have a good time. Everyone talks at once and we all carry on 4 or 5 simultaneous conversations.

hate football, small family that doesn’t do get togethers
will pop into my sons house for a couple hours to see my granddaughters, but ex-wife will be there so won’t be staying any longer than necessary

Thanks for the ping-a-ling! We just got home from a week in OKC. My MIL is doing quite well, but still can’t walk or even stand for more than a couple of minutes. Her house has been sold so we spent a lot of time sorting though stuff. I feel sorry when my son has to do the same around here. LOL!

After spending half my life in China and having more education than almost the rest of the room combined if you subtract my wife. I sometimes struggle with talking to people.
I don’t do small talk very well and tend to give instructions rather than advice.
As it should be.
Then you go have a ciggie with your auntie and get the scoop on everyone LOL
I can just hear the jumble of conversation now. That’s the way it was at my gramma’s house! And the food!! Ahhhh....the food....
Now we just go to a cafeteria because all our family live away. And I don’t cook! Especially a huge dinner for just two! LOL!
I tend to educate people, and they don’t like that. People accuse me of thinking that I’m the smartest man in the room. Usually, I am.
Good plan! LOL! Hope you’ll enjoy all the trimmings, too. Especially the dressing. That’s my favorite part!
And the pecan pie. LOL!
