Donald Trump corrected reports from the media suggesting that he actually wanted a government database for all Muslim Americans to be registered in order to stop terrorism.
âI didnât suggest a database â a reporter did,â he wrote on Twitter moments ago. âWe must defeat Islamic terrorism and have surveillance, including a watch list, to protect America.â
The media spent most of the day reacting to Trumpâs positive reaction to a question posed by reporters as to whether he supported a plan to register American Muslims.

Classic ‘are you still beating your wife’ attack.
Maxine Waters said that Barack Obama was constructing an extensive database on Americans for democrat politicking.
I’ll bet it includes religious persuasion.
I agree
Yes, a member of the media brought up this crazy idea.
BUT, DT signed onto it, 100%.
we need a terrorist....ready ...facility to dissuade all these types from actung up.
how many of the jihadist devils who have already engaged in terrorisim on our shores were on a watch list??
send em packing or send em to meet “alluh”
watch lists dont work when youre at WAR
So what’s wrong with a database of murdering jihadists who have sworn to kill Americans? The 50 IQ media apes should be decorating lampposts.
Even if he did actually suggest doing a Muslim database, it wouldn’t matter to me. Why? Because it infuriates the people I want to infuriate, the Left, and the RINOS.
Whatever makes you BIG GOV’T bastards mad.. I’m for. I don’t care anymore. If this is the guy you hate, then I’m voting for HIM because I HATE YOU!
“Yes, a member of the media brought up this crazy idea.

If you listen to the tape, which Rush played yesterday, it is clear that he did not sign on to it. This is a classic media attack to take out the front runner by deceit.
You’re wrong. The internment camps are a black stain on American history. They are FDR’s shame, the liberals’ legacy, and we should not be excusing them now.
The fact is, in the wake of Pearl Harbor there WAS immense resentment, even hatred in many cases of good loyal Japanese-Americans, and with a war on, it was not possible to post an armed guard with every one of their families, so while there may not have been a dire threat to our national security from real (or imagined) Japanese-American agents-in-place who might have committed acts of sabotage/espionage, it was WAR and whether right or wrong, FDR believed it best to ship them off to those internment camps, and it remains to be seen (and remains open to speculation) IF those Japanese-Americans would have been safe from the righteous anger of Americans who had been sucker punched at Pearl Harbor.
If you want to look for ‘black stains’ I could recommend some things far more reprehensible.
I agree he cited the technical feasibility and “good management” sense of a database which isn’t a formal policy proposal but is obviously an implicit endorsement.
Below is a reality that has been hidden by the left wing media re German Americans in WWII.
One of the best kept secrets of WWII was the internment of German American men, women and children, away from the rest of America.
Canada and some Latin America countries did the same and interned some Italians.
Why did these evil countries do this. They were at war with the Axis, Germany, Italy and Japan, and they did not want to have acts of terrorism committed against their citizens by possible terrorists.
Did the media label FDR as a Nazi for the internment of Germans, Japanese and some Italians during WWII?
PS: The Canadians had very severe internment camps re locations in hostile climate zones in WWII for Germans, Japanese and Italian Canadians. We never hear about those camps Why, those camps don't fit the left wing agendas.
If you think Americans of Japanese descent needed to be stripped of their liberty to protect them from white Americans, then you don’t have a terribly high opinion of white Americans. That’s a shame.
It was not about “protecting” them, no matter how leftists might want to spin it today. It was a panicky and racist decision that they couldn’t be trusted. And they were wrong - Japanese-Americans were highly decorated when we let them out of the camps and in to the Army.
It is an old trick to use a term first and then quote your adversary’s answer as if he used it first.
Example:
First person: “You think I’m an a$$h0ld.”
Second person: “You wouldn’t be the first.”
First person (to someone else): “She called me an a$$hold.”
Another example:
First person: “I have a message for you from the queen of the Upper East Side.”
Second person: “She just thinks she is.”
First person (to someone else): “She said you think you’re the queen of the Upper East Side.”
By inference he did, though. Why put the in the same comment?
Notice how many people were fooled. That was intentional on Cruz’s part.
Read Malkin’s book about this. It is enlightening.
It was both. I had a Japanese roommate in the 70s and her parents were in the camps. She said they were very grateful, because there was such vile prejudice on the outside of those camps.
Way to nail them AGAIN, Donald.
I LOVE IT!!!
