Ann Coulter reacted to the Paris terrorist attack tonight by declaring "no more Muslim immigration" and touting Donald Trump on that particular issue.
In a string of tweets tonight, Coulter said that the obvious answer to stopping terrorism in the United States is to "stop importing Muslims"

As much as I like Cruz, and I voted for him for Senator, I believe that the press has demonized Cruz to such an extent especially over the shut down of the government that he doesn’t stand a chance. JMHO

Well .. I don’t know about that .. Just because you’re living in the U.S., that does not give you guaranteed protections.
And .. it’s difficult to deport illegals BECAUSE THE CURRENT ADMIN WILL NOT ALLOW “ICE” TO ENFORCE THE LAWS .. Laws already on the books.
They’re in denial about the truth of Islam.
And .. this allows people to let their guard down .. and that’s just what Islam wants.

It's like Cruz says---when we run a conservative, we win. When we run anything else, we lose again. Some of us never learn, though, do we? Even though history repeats itself over...and over...and over. We crow for three years about the need for a Constitutional conservative, and when one comes along, we decide, nah, this other guy over here is "electable."
And we spend the next three years blaming everybody but ourselves for the disaster we invited.

No, your “guess” is wrong. Your guess is the strawman you imagine me to be. That strawman exists in your imagination only, not in reality.
I care most about the second win of win-win. And I understand the reality the second win will not happen without the first one. The issue isn’t as simple as you say - we pick and run a “constitutional conservative” and automatically win as if “constitutional conservative” is some sort of magic wand. Conservative values will never win if the candidate can’t win with the voting public. Trump is NOT a “liberal” - he has many conservative values - and he’s doubling and tripling Cruz’s poll numbers. Trump is winning with the voting public. These are undeniable facts.
If what you said was true “It’s like Cruz says-—when we run a conservative, we win. When we run anything else, we lose again.” Cruz would have the poll numbers Trump has. Cruz would be number one. But he isn’t, so your statement is not an absolute truth statement - it’s an opinion, and appears to be wrong.
Your post reminds me of what C. Edmund Wright said; “Half the conservatives have gone bat shit crazy......and in ways that prior to now, only liberals have done (projecting, fantasizing, excusing, ignoring, worshipping....etc).”
It is an amazing thing to see, I wounld’t go as far as saying “Spiritual blindness.....no other explanation.” like C. Edmund Wright did but it is interesting to watch people try to spin Trump as some sort evil Sanders/Hillary twin. It’s beyond pathetic.
I say all that as a Cruz supporter. I like Cruz, even bought his book. But he’s not connecting well enough to beat Hillary head to head. It’s painfully obvious in these two videos;
