He continued, âDarwin said his whole theory depended on the fossil remains. He said we should be able to line up from a single-cell organism to man, several miles long and just walk right down the fossil trail and see how everything evolved.â
âHe [Darwin] said the only reason they didnât have the fossils was because they were not geologically sophisticated enough, but that we would be in 50 to 100 years,â said Dr. Carson. Well, that was 150 years ago. We still havenât found them. Where are they? Where are the fossil remains?â
Carson continued, âWhen you ask the evolutionists about that, they say, âUh, I donât know where they are, theyâre somewhere, they are, we just havenât found them yet.â Thatâs a pretty lame excuse, to be honest with you.â
Earlier in his remarks, Dr. Carson said, âMany people donât know this but Charles Darwin actually started out in the seminary to become a man of the cloth. He had some experiences with God that didnât go his way, like his 10-year-old daughter who died of pneumonia despite his pleas.â

This is what they (the MSM) do!
Show me the monkey men. :-)
Not a big fan of Carson but he has now fallen for the MSM trap.
Wasting time and effort debating pointless issues usually the field of Academia debates.
The America has had enough talk...talk...talk
Macro Evolution is a myth.
Don't you know? All species were made from the common clay.
Is that wild gene and barry white? The common clay is obvious, right? Right? Right?
Emily Litella: What's all this FUSS I keep hearing... about changing feces?
Now, that's outrageous!! Why -- why are FECES changing?! Are we running
out of feces? How could we POSSIBLY run out of such a thing?!
Why -- why, just look around you, you can see it ALL OVER the place!!
Besides, who wants to SAVE THAT, anyway?! My goodness, where would we KEEP it?!
It's DANGEROUS, especially in the Summer!! Then -- then, it could REALLY hit the fan!!
Jane Curtin: Species.
Emily Litella: What's that?
Jane Curtin: Species! The notion of changing species! Not feces -- species.
Emily Litella: Ohhhh! I-I-I must have gotten carried away. Never mind!
Exactly. There is a mountain of evidence for adaptation, and literally zero for evolution.
Would like to hear someone erudite and sharp, like Cruz— talk about Bolsheviks and Mensheviks again: in the context of Lenin’s visit to Dr. Pavlov’s research lab, where Lenin is documented (by Pavlov) to have asked pointed questions as to whether people can be conditioned in the same way as Pavlovian response. Absolutely terrifying endpoint of a psychopathic totalitarian. Mind control, behavioural control through media and “dog” training.
Someone point out what Hitlery is FOR— in absolute terms to take the damned blinders off. Cogent, proven, supported attacks... now. And show her utter disdain for the US, and for freedom. Just imagine— single payer govt. healthcare with a database that will control everyone through constant battering and beating down. Orwell was right.
That is because the definition of species precludes such a change. If only everyone studied philosophy along with their favorite subject . . .
Once a species occupies an environmental niche in coexistence with the other species around it, the less adapted variations die off, leaving the species alone in its niche.
There’s really not room for giraffes with necks only somewhere near the ideal length. We can’t see the transition anymore. There’s variation for a while and then there’s semi-stability. Only the semi-stable variety survives in enough multiplicity—sometimes—in the fossil record to be observed, and becomes known as the species.
Saw this elementary illustration one time: Professor had one of those huge flip pads. He pointed to the entire blank page and said “This is the sum total of all species that ever existed.” Then he drew a little tiny dot in the middle: “And this is the fossil record.”
Sunstein is co-author of the book Nudge: Improving Decisions about Health, Wealth, and Happiness and has been advising Obama since 2009. His book jumpstarted the nudging revolution. Heâs a believer that people can be incentivized to make âgoodâ decisions under the right conditions or in the right environment.
Sanger is proud.
He is getting into evolution? With the media?
He is done. Stick a fork into him.
Why do people get sucked into thes things?
Actually, taking Dr. Carson's assertion means that if you didn't see the Grand Canyon being made, you can't know how it happened.
Dr. Carson's argument is a simple, flat-out rejection of inductive logic.
Inductive logic is a valuable tool for dealing with situations where you do not and cannot have enough information to reach a deductive conclusion. I'd think an inability or unwillingness to apply it would be of some concern in the evaluation of a candidate for the office of POTUS.
I would guess that Carson’s views on this have not evolved, unlike politicians who change until their professed beliefs meet the approval of the mainstream media.
AMEN!!! There is not one shred of evidence for evolution....that’s just ATHEISTS Hoping that God does not exist!!
The dumbed down population simply needs to be told that we have remains for everything from Australopithecus to neandertal developing into modern man, and that’s exactly what they’ve been told, so they’ll conclude that Carson is an overly religious man.
