Americans trust Donald Trump the most as a ‘job creator’ says new Harris Poll
The Washington Times ^ | Friday, October 30, 2015 | Jennifer Harper

The nation trusts Republican frontrunner Donald Trump as the White House hopeful who could successfully remedy the current employment situation. We're talking all Americans here, not just Republicans.

"When asked in open-ended questioning which presidential candidate they think would best improve the U.S. job market, Donald Trump is the top response (26 percent), followed by Hillary Clinton (20 percent) and more distantly by Bernie Sanders (12 percent)," reports Larry Shannon-Missal, managing editor of the Harris Poll.

The sheeple have been deceived into thinking that the government creates jobs. Presidents do not create economies or jobs, but they have a history of suppressing both.

Immigration as an economics issue wins. Most voters still believe the USA is a “nation of immigrants”. If you run on just hating immigration alone you will lose...badly.

Check the polls. Number 1 issue. Jobs and the economy.

Check where immigration is.

Immigration is the number one issue no matter what the push polls try to say, because it directly effects all the other issues.

America is adding the equivalent of the population of Los Angeles every 2 year or so, in legal immigration alone. Millions more with illegal immigration are laying the country to waste.

Both corrupt parties have been attempting to evade this country killing issue for decades now. We all see the escalating results of these reckless immigration policies from San Francisco to South Carolina and all points.

The invasion of America affects everything dramatically, including jobs, economy, crime, traffic, education, national security and even our ever compromised and undermined electoral process.

As a private citizen, Donald Trump, or any other individual or groups of citizens, can, by their own creativity, initiative, industry and expertise, can "create" wealth-creating jobs.

As an elected government official, even as President, Trump and/or those same individuals cannot "create" wealth-creating jobs. They can only create an environment where individual freedom, unhampered by the coercive hand of government, where others in the society can create goods and services and wealth.

So you can imagine what this guy is going to do to create jobs, he’s going to make damn sure he succeeds rather than give his enemies the privilege of pointing fingers at him and saying "Ah ha, you loser, you failure"

I've said basically the same thing in the past. His ego works FOR us, not against us. This is the last guy who would want to go down in history as a disgraceful president who reneged on his promises and failed. He's going to want to be remembered for greatness. His ego and self-assuredness are an ASSET, not a liability.

And what have we had for 30+ years? An increasingly punitive regulated and controlled environment which taxes and chokes job growth, freedom etc. While things like lawless open borders and reckless immigration policies reign.

What are one of the few thing the feds are actually supposed to do? The main thing is the fed is required to do by law, is protect and secure our borders for our own safety and to preserve national security. Yet what we get from these political government insiders is just the opposite.

Yep, I just pray he wins because if someone like Hillary does it’s going to be that much more of a loss because Trump said he ain’t running again. This is a one shot deal and to get Hillary in would be like drowning inches from a life preserver. Trump has got one hell of an uphill battle though because he has EVERYBODY working against him, the media, the Republicans, the Democraps. All he’s got on his side are people like us and I hope it is enough because those people are working night and day to get the undecided to vote for Hillary. Like my brother always says “Hillary winning would be like nuking the Titanic as it’s sinking” So incredibly true. We are sinking and fast and the LAST thing we need is her! She wins, this country is finished and it would be one hell of a tragedy because we came so close to being saved.

Well that explains why Trump is so far behind Rubio.

Fact # 1 : Trump was never personally bankrupt. 4 out of his 100’s of business ventures declared bankruptcy.

Fact # 2 : Even behemoth GM was bankrupt. Tax payers bailed them out. Chrysler was bankrupt at one time. Again, bailed out by tax payers. Insurance giant AIG International was bankrupt. Again bailed out by tax payers.

Fact # 3 : Business by nature is risky. 9 out of 10 new business start-ups go bankrupt.

Some recover from setbacks, others do not. Trump recovered very handsomely.

Yep. Trump knows where the jobs were sent and will bring them back to the middle class. Others know but refuse to bring the jobs back.

The problem is you win elections in the middle, not with the base.

Immigration may be the number 1 issues for a lot of Freepers, it not for most other voters.

Most voters also put Hussein Obama in as president 2x right Johnny? So what's that say about your comment Johnny? Fact is Trump is waking a lot of people up to the ugly facts and it seems many are waking. Even some of those drooling in cups are starting to figure out reckless immigration is choking us off in every direction. Many others are seeing someone who's actually bring this to the front of the table, and they're jumping on board by the millions.

It's what is making this election the most historic in modern American history Johnny. Maybe it's time you reboot and get updated Johnny?

The Carson polls are just the psychological warfare being carried out by the media/democrat/gope machine.

Trump up in the polls “See we are winning, everyone else should just drop out”

Trump down in the pols “The polls are a corrupt plot to stop Trump”

Item 1. Carson is for ethanol subsidies, Trump is against. Corn is a major Iowa crop. Ethanol comes from corn.

Item 2. The 09-11 comments from Trump did not play well in Iowa. GOP voters in Iowa are uber patriotic. They are not happy when they hear their candidate sounding just like the Democrats about Bush (who they voted for 2xs) and 09-11

Rather then try to shoot the polling messenger. Wise campaigns look at the polls and try to figure out what when wrong and fix it.

Rather then go into continued hysterics consider this.

Huckabee won Iowa in 2008 and Santorum won Iowa in 2012.

Did it do them any good?
