The conventional wisdom among Donald Trump’s detractors is that his current surge in the polls won’t last because as we get closer to actual voting, Republicans excited by his political incorrectness will start factoring in “electability.” When GOP voters realize that he can’t beat Hillary Clinton, the theory goes, they will switch their support to other more electable candidates.
One problem with that theory: Right now, GOP voters believe Trump is the most electable candidate.
A new Post/ABC News poll asked GOP-leaning voters which candidate “has the best chance of getting elected president in November 2016?” The winner was Trump by a landslide. An incredible 43 percent of GOP voters say that Trump is the most electable GOP candidate. In a distant second place, Ben Carson trails Trump on electability by 27 points, while Jeb Bush — whose entire rationale for his campaign is electability — trails Trump on electability by 30 points. Since the same poll found Trump with 32 percent support, that means even GOP voters who do not support Trump still believe he is most likely to beat the Democrats in 2016. A new Associated Press-GfK poll confirms this, finding that “Seven in 10 Republicans and Republican-leaning registered voters say they think Trump could win in November 2016 if he were nominated; that’s the most of any Republican candidate.”

I think Trump is farther ahead than people know. The new mission is to make it look like he isn’t to demoralize his supporters and force him to lash out at the debate.
I don’t like so many of these hokey debates. The dems hardly do any of theem so their candidates aren’t sullying each other to pieces.

Someone on CNN was saying that Carson had just risen above Trump in a National Poll. I could only read some of the closed captions. Anyone know what poll they were talking about?
Can you not comprehend that if we lose the country to a permanent Democrat super-majority, we lose ALL the issues forever?
I've read two different articles that state he already has 25% of Black America's vote.

Cher appears to be throwing her support behind 2016 Republican front-runner Donald Trump.
In a tweet Friday, the Grammy Award-winning singer tweeted "Never thought I'd say... Donald Trump is a Giant Among Gop front runners!!? She lambasted other GOP presidential candidates in the same tweet: "Cruz = devil. Rubio = RAGE AGAINST WOMEN. Carson = JUST TELL ME WHY?!?
Trump later thanked the singer for her support.
"So nice of @Cher --- greatly appreciated," Trump tweeted.
Possible, especially because Tyson said Trump will run the country like a business, where if does not matter your skin color if you can do the job....paraphrasing.

Today, a new New York Times/CBS national poll has Carson beating Trump, Carson at 26% and Trump at 22% with a six point margin of error.
Trump said there are numerous polls out there. So, he isn’t taking this one seriously and says he is surprised he isn’t leading in Iowa.
