The latest 2016 presidential poll has Donald Trump destroying Hitlery Clinton in a head-to-head matchup, 375 electoral votes to Hitlerys 163. That is an astonishing 70% to 30%, and is very good news if you are a Donald Trump supporter . and I am!
From Dmitri Voltova, prntly.com
Based on an average of the RCP (Real Clear Politics) polling data from all the states and all the head to head matchups between Donald Trump (by far the winner of the GOP) and Hillary Clinton (The winner of the Democratic Party) shows bad news for the Democrats.
Clinton is losing handily in all the swing states, and is even losing Democrat strongholds of Maryland, Connecticut, and Oregon. According to many polls, and the averages, Clinton cannot even hold on to California and New York without a major fight. On the bright side for the Democrat party, they make gains in the south as Obama is now off the ticket.
Trump would defeat Hillary Clinton by 5 percentage points nationwide: getting 52% and Clinton gathering 47% (presuming the pollsters are citing the popular vote)

Yes, the GOP narrowly won the Governorship as it did in 2002. Main reasons, O’Malley the outgoing rat Governor was awful and his Black LT. Governor was the rat nominee, he scared away moderate White democrats. And not being a POTUS year, dem turnout was a lower.
Unfortunately, this local election result has precious little to do with the POTUS election. Bush sure didn’t win it in 2004 (or MA despite Romney being Governor there). Just like Kerry sure as hell didn’t win Wyoming even though they elected a dem Governor in 2002. And Alaska (elected independent/dem endorsed Governor in 2014) is not gonna be voting for Hillary
A (narrow) GOP win is certainly not impossible but it would mean a nationwide landslide with the nominee getting significantly more than 52% nationwide. If Maryland goes Republican few states are likely to go dem.
HW Bush won the state and a huge electoral college majority on only 53% nationally in 1988, but that was a long time ago, states are more polarized now. I can’t see Maryland being only a couple points more dem that the country at large, Romney did 11 points worse than he did nationally, it actually swung slightly towards Obama thanks to even higher Black turnout than 2008. Low Black turnout/doing better than usual with the Black vote is essential to a GOP win in the state.
I’m in the San Fernando Valley. Like, fur sure! Not for long, though. When I retire I’m outta here. Can’t wait to see LA in my rear view mirror, know what I’m saying?
I guess it depends where in the SFV but aren’t some parts more Conservative than others? I know Van Nuys is probably more liberal since its majority Hispanic, or North Hollywood..but I figured areas like Woodland Hills, Agoura Hills to be more Conservative..I cant blame you for leaving, heck I would leave too but my whole family is here and I don’t know anyone anywhere else I would love to move to Texas, love Texas!
Woodland Hills and Agoura Hills are more upscale, if that means anything. Van Nuys and North Hollywood are heavily invaded by illegals. Orange County used to be considered conservative, but when I visit my friend who lives in Anaheim, it looks like Mexico. She’s nicknamed the town “Ana-Crime.” So I doubt OC is as conservative as it used to be, either. I wish CA could be turned around, but I gave up hope of that long ago.
I gave up hopes for California ever turning red again(And in red I mean Republican not Red like Commie cause its already pretty Commie unfortunately) Im on the Westside near The Grove so here its pretty much all liberal can’t tell you how many times Ive seen Bernie Sanders stickers, makes me gag..and one Hitlary one but its rare to even see a sticker on a car with her name on it anymore. Ventura County is still pretty Conservative thank goodness. My cousin lives in Simi Valley, about 5 min from the Reagan Library, its a beautiful library, Ronnie loved Simi Valley, he loved California, I don’t know what he would think now about the state he loved so much
They say Ronnie could never get elected here today. He would probably be very disappointed in how this state turned out, and the country, as well.
The only place I ever see conservative stickers around here is in church parking lots.
I think Trump would take NY myself. Wall Street can only do so much to prop up Hillary, even in NY.
I remember in 2008 seeing a HUGE McCain/Palin sign next to the 118 freeway(While leaving Simi Valley) it was nice to see, now its rare to see any signs for Republicans, maybe in Ventura County but not in liberal looney LA, overrun with illegals, unions, LA Raza types and the local media UGH well you know what I mean..the media here is all flaming lib. Whenever they have to report that someone saved themselves with a gun you hear the way they say GUN and you can hear the disdain in their voice even though their studios are all protected with armed guards
I totally agree with everything you said. Something to consider, though...a lot of conservatives don’t want to put Republican/conservative stickers on their cars because the oh, so tolerant liberals will vandalize their cars! I never put any stickers on my car for just that reason. Conservatives are decent and tolerant enough to leave liberal stickers alone. The reverse is NOT true.
That is true. I know I would be nervous putting a sticker on my car in fear of it being vandalized so I can’t say I blame people for not doing it.
I don’t buy it. I don’t see PA or OH or VA and NC going that way. Too blue. Same for WI and MI.
Thanks for the info. Maryland was my home state before Florida. sad to see what has happened to a beautiful place like Baltimore. i think this election is going to be very much different than anyone believes across the country.
