Dr. Ben Carson continues to be calm about his presidential campaign, despite his new status as republican front-runner in Iowa and target of Donald Trump's taunts.
In an interview to air on NBC's "Meet the Press" Sunday, Carson responded to Donald Trump referring to him as "sleeping" and "super low energy" by saying that "it's fine" if Trump wants to attack him for his campaign style.
"I don't get into the mud pit and I'm not going to be talking about people. I will tell you, in terms of energy, I'm not sure that there's anybody else running who has spent 18 or 20 hours intently operating on somebody," Carson said.

Apparently Dr. Carson understands the value of meekness. Not suprising.
Call came through today on the business line which we did not answer. When one of the gals looked up the number on-line it was from someone from Carson’s group calling. Maybe a robocall? Never have donated or contacted his campaign about anything.
IMO if he has a place at all in anyone’s cabinet it would be as Surgeon General, although I’ve never been quite certain why we even need anyone in that area.
There is no such thing as his outsider image. He’s the answer the GOP is fronting to the Black / minority issue.
He’s a good man in many areas. But he’s an establishment product without question. People need to do their research on this guy.
The more I learn about Carson the more he scares me.

One of the funniest movies ever made. It is a quirky take on Homer’s Odyssey set in the 1930’s. George Clooney played the lead in a role that I would never have imagined him to play. I laughed until I ached.
It shows you where his discernment is.
We might agree with liberas in very limited areas and circumstances. But to associate ones self with an icon of liberal idiocy during a presedantial campaign?
You wanna know what that tells me? It’s a continuation of the establishment ‘unity’ crap that will ultimately end up with a GOP/Dem ticket to ‘unify’ the country and save it from Evil Trump, Evil Cruz and Evil conservatives.

I agree. Anyone associating themselves with Sharpton’s views has never heard the story of the fly and the spider or at least accepted such happens in the human world.

The only unsolicited e-mails I've gotten so far this year are Ben Carson e-mails, so my guess is that he's in tight with the GOP-e enough to be on one of their lists from back when I was a Pubbie.

I think Dr. Carson is confusing energy with stamina.

Received a paperback in the mailbox today entitled The Great Controversy. We did not order it. It looks like a 7 day Adventist end of the world book. Carson and his DR. pals here have our address. Anyone else get the book?
