Jewish groups and Holocaust scholars say Ben Carson’s claims that Nazi gun control laws contributed to the Holocaust are offensive and inaccurate, but Carson is not backing down. .
The Anti-Defamation League (ADL), which was founded to combat anti-Semitism and other forms of prejudice, derided Carson’s theory – which he first raised in his new book “A Perfect Union” – as “historically inaccurate.” .
But the ADL wasn’t the only major organization to weigh in: The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum also took issue with Carson’s decision to inject his claims into America’s gun debate.

That a visibly non-Jew rendered judgement on a topic that is somehow exclusively “the property of” Jews.
They’re not really rendering a judgement over whether guns would have helped Jews, or not.
They just want to make ANY topic that has ANYTHING to do with Jews out-of-bounds for a black guy, or more generally, for a non-Jew or for a Conservative.
They want people so terrified that when a subject like this comes up, people or maybe entities like the FBI have to come to the ADL and PAY them to render THEIR HOLY JUDGEMENT.
The only ones outraged are leftist Jews who think that the Holocaust was A OK..Hitler said “In order to control a nation one must disarm its citizens” if Jews during the Holocaust had guns, there would have been NO Holocaust

As a Jew born and raised in the US and living in Israel, I could not agree more with Dr. Carson on this point. He is correct and the liberal/left-wing Jewish groups are wrong.
You don’t need to have an Einstein mind to realize that if the Jews were armed, Hitler would not be able to exterminate 6 million Jews without any resistance from them.
Those Jewish groups attacking Dr. Carlson for stating a truism are the same that put Obama in power, their leftist leanings put their loyalty to the KKK Democratic party over their loyalty to United States and Israel. They keep supporting anti-Semite FDR legacy that denied refugee in U.S. the few Jews that were able scape Nazi occupied Europe.
They also keep smearing the memory of Pope Pius XII even when he and the Catholic Church are responsible saving the lives of over 900,000 Jews, a fact recognized by the founders of Israel.
Steve Israel is doing what all leftists do when they cannot refute a political statement by a non-leftist.
He changes the premise of the statement by inferring that guns in the hand of the German Jews in the 1930’s could have prevented the Holocaust. However, that is NOT what Dr. Ben Carson stated. Carson said that tyranny such as Nazi Germany and the Holocaust might have been prevented entirely had not that government confiscated the means of opposition, that is, the ability to defend themselves by owning their own guns.
Leftists still insist on claiming that all Germans were anti-Semitic, but that is simply not true. Israel is correct to state that the Holocaust was an abomination caused by anti-Semitism, but Carson’s position is that in the face of such evil, [like anti-Semitism], the confiscation of guns from all the people rendered them helpless - both the Jews and those who were good Christians or other people of humanitarian sentiments.
So the position of these liberal Jews is that having the means to defend oneself would’ve made no difference. Perhaps they should run that one by the descendants of those who fought for their lives in the Warsaw ghetto.
In their twisted minds, submissively walking to their deaths in the ovens was preferable.
Not only did Switzerland have a well-trained civilian militia, there’s also the huge problem of invading a mountainous country. By 1940, the Swiss built a very extensive system of fortifications that took full advantage of the mountainous terrain of the country and any land invasion would have resulted in massive casualties on the German side because the Swiss defender held the “high ground” in too many parts of the country.

It is one of the most inspirational events of the modern age.
It provides good insight for those who think that a vastly overpowered and outnumbered minority cannot make a difference.
