In what has become an all-too-frequent occurrence, Fox News wasted no time taking a swipe at conservatives. We've seen it plenty of times now -- from commentators having meltdowns because their establishment candidate isn't the frontrunner to openly criticizing conservatives as out of touch or crazy. Now, the race for Speaker of the House is up in the air, and Fox News has singled out a certain conservative candidate as the possible culprit. Some of the Fox News bias really came to light with the ascendance of Donald Trump. Trump is certainly no conservative, but he speaks out against the politically correct establishment and the media. As such, candidates such as Jeb Bush (a Fox News favorite) are directly in his line of fire. This caused such turmoil at Fox News that they launched an all-out assault on Trump. Just think back to the first presidential debate if you have any doubts as to whose corner Fox News was NOT in.
Now, we have the fall of House Speaker John Boehner who decided to resign rather than face a possible ouster by a growing faction of disgruntled conservatives. His presumed establishment successor, Kevin McCarthy, also saw the writing on the wall and withdrew from the race knowing that he did not have the votes to win.
But check out what Brett Baier of Fox News had to say about McCarthy's withdrawal:
So... Baier blames Ted Cruz for McCarthy's fall??? Baier makes it sound as if Cruz is engaged in a sinister plot by meeting with the Freedom Caucus. How dare conservatives actually meet and demand that things get done! Then Baier claims that Cruz exerts "undue influence" on the caucus?? What does that even mean? It's just a line thrown out there to paint Cruz in a bad light.
So, what's the purpose of those comments? They added nothing to the debate or the discussion but merely guided viewers down a path that makes Cruz look like the bad guy.
It's disturbing that Fox News seems to be no different than so many of the establishment Republicans in Washington. They talk and preach conservatism just as long as nothing really gets done. With people like Trump and Carson on the rise and people like Boehner on his way out, the Beltway elite must be shaking right now. But will anything change?
Fox News is part of the Ministry of Propaganda.
They are the mouthpiece of The Cheap Labor Express.
Fox will always push the candidates and positions that advance the goal of eliminating our laws and borders.
Just amazing what Trump and Cruz have smoked out. Now we know who the GOPers are that were pretending to be something else.
FAUX has been caught like a deer in the headlights. IT IS COSTING THEM RATINGS. MyGYN keelly is falling in Rachal Maddow territory. I never watch kelly— ever. At least when I watch Rachall I know where she stands. Kelly is a stinking liar for the republican liberal wing.
Trump supporters here are claiming McCarthy was booted by THE DONALD alone. Maybe FOX just wants to credit Trump's accomplishments to others to thwart his chances < /sarc >
And they are pro-sodomy (muslim ethics) because they are partly owned by Saudis (whom Walid Shoebat stated prefers little boys for sexual recreation).
Fox is trying to normalize muslim ethics and takeover......since they stated “French” Youths instead of “muslim” a decade ago.
They revealed who owns them, then.
Yup, used to watch Fox all the time. Since Trump exposed them as GOPe traitors not so much.
I blame Bret Baier for having undue influence in the spread of stupidity and more importantly for giving me a migraine. being exposed to that much stupid....hurts!
Anyone that is part of the “Fox news team”, with the exception of REAL Christian Shannon Bream, were happy as a big in a mud hole when “marriage equality” as they called it, was made law by Anthony Kennedy. All the women, Shannon Bream excluded, acted like the giggling liberals they are when Obama opened up combat roles, to include Special Forces for women. Not a one of them criticized it. The gals on The Five, thought it was the greatest thing since peanut butter that women would now die right alongside men in combat.
Fox News and the GOP are all of Washington. One is carrots and the other potatoes in the soup cauldron of DC.
good grief......fair and BALANCED....all conservatives are not great choices.
Brett Baier used to be a solid conservative.
I’ve tried Newsmax a couple times. It’s not that bad, or at least it is better than FOX.
It’s a Shining endorsement from Fox News that Ted Cruz IS the candidate that Conservatives choose.
Thank you very much For News for confirming to us that we Conservatives have picked the right man to lead to country.
So... you prefer the Clinton New Network?
One America News and Newsmax TV are far better than Fox News.
I do use Sky News for breaking World News and also local feeds for breaking United States News.
