University of Pennsylvania professor of religion recently called African-American presidential candidate Ben Carson a “coon” on Twitter.
Anthea Butler used the racist term in a tweet responding to a Sports Illustrated article on how Carson didn’t mind NASCAR fans flying the Confederate flag on private property. “If only there was a ‘coon of the year’ award…” she lamented.

She looks like an explosion in a Brillo factory.
A Ph.D’s and two Masters... all that expensive education but can not say she’s accomplished ANYTHING that even comes close to being on the same level as a neurosurgeon. Or most skilled professional tradesmen, like plumbers and electricians.
The University of Pennsylvania should not endorse such racist comments with a salary.
Also, please tell me she hasn’t procreated, she’s done enough damage to young minds as it is.

As she is colored, she is authorized by the Left to use that language. To criticize her for it would be racist. As stupid as that sounds, it makes perfect sense to elites in academia. How did this happen?
Based upon the small sample of students who were brave enough to report, she is less than a great professor.
She is more interested in imposing her opinion and making sure white guilt is felt than actually teaching anything. Made consistent errors that could be pinpointed by her students and took herself so seriously that she would get angry if you questioned her and would insinuate that racism/sexism was the "real" reason why you raised a question. its an embarassment to the RS department that this loudmouth idiot with crazy Don King hair is the head chair. Worst Professor ive ever known or heard of. her opinions are poorly substantiated and academically unsound to say the least mostly due to her afrocentric presuppositional bias which makes her narrow-minded.Avoid her at all cost! She is an awful teacher who thinks that she knows everything when half of the time she is making mistakes in the names of the things she is trying to teach! I'm a student and even I can see her mistakes! She takes herself way too seriously, and her TAs are awful! Her and her TAs are very harsh graders, beware! I doubt she’s a real professor, more of a billet filler as required by liberal rules to appear diverse.
